Shiva Purana
तत्र स्नातो नरः सम्यङ् नंदिकेशं समर्च्य च ॥ ब्रह्महत्यादिभिः पापैर्मुच्यते ह्यखिलैरपि ॥ ३५॥
The man who takes bath there and worships Nandikeśa with devotion becomes freed from all sins such as the slaughter of a Brahmin etc.
english translation
tatra snAto naraH samyaG naMdikezaM samarcya ca ॥ brahmahatyAdibhiH pApairmucyate hyakhilairapi ॥ 35॥
