॥ सुब्रह्मण्य उवाच ॥ अथ मध्याह्नसमये स्नात्वा नियतमानसः ॥ गन्धपुष्पाक्षतादीनि पूजाद्रव्याण्युपाहरेत॥ १ ॥
Subrahmaṇya said:— Then at midday he shall take bath. With the mind fully controlled he shall gather materials for worship such as fragrant flowers, Akṣatas etc.
english translation
॥ subrahmaNya uvAca ॥ atha madhyAhnasamaye snAtvA niyatamAnasaH ॥ gandhapuSpAkSatAdIni pUjAdravyANyupAhareta॥ 1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैर्ऋत्ये पूजयेद्देवं विघ्रेशं देवपूजितम्॥ गणानां त्वेति मन्त्रेणावाहयेत्सुविधानतः ॥ २॥
With the mantra, “Gaṇānām tvā” he shall as enjoined invoke lord Gaṇapati worshipped by the gods. He shall worship hīm in the south-west.
english translation
nairRtye pUjayeddevaM vighrezaM devapUjitam॥ gaNAnAM tveti mantreNAvAhayetsuvidhAnataH ॥ 2॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरक्तवर्णं महाकायं सर्व्वाभरणभूषितम्॥ पाशांकुशाक्षाभीष्टञ्च दधानं करपंकजैः ॥ ३ ॥
He was red in complexion and had a huge body and was adorned with all kinds of ornaments He held in his palms a rope goad and axes desired.
english translation
raktavarNaM mahAkAyaM sarvvAbharaNabhUSitam॥ pAzAMkuzAkSAbhISTaJca dadhAnaM karapaMkajaiH ॥ 3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवमावाह्य सन्ध्याय शंभुपुत्रं गजाननम्॥ अभ्यर्च्य पायसापूपनालिकेरगुडादिभिः ॥ ४॥
Thus invoking Gajanana the son of Sambhu in the evening After worshiping the Lord with payasam, bread, coconut milk, jaggery and other offerings.
english translation
evamAvAhya sandhyAya zaMbhuputraM gajAnanam॥ abhyarcya pAyasApUpanAlikeraguDAdibhiH ॥ 4॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैवेद्यमुत्तमं दद्यात्ताम्बूलादिमथापरम्॥ परितोष्य नमस्कृत्य निर्विघ्नम्प्रार्थयेत्ततः ॥ ५ ॥
Then he should offer the best offerings such as beans. After satisfying himself he should offer obeisances and pray without hindrance.

naivedyamuttamaM dadyAttAmbUlAdimathAparam॥ paritoSya namaskRtya nirvighnamprArthayettataH ॥ 5 ॥
