आ त्वा॒ गिरो॑ र॒थीरि॒वास्थु॑: सु॒तेषु॑ गिर्वणः । अ॒भि त्वा॒ सम॑नूष॒तेन्द्र॑ व॒त्सं न मा॒तर॑: ॥ आ त्वा गिरो रथीरिवास्थुः सुतेषु गिर्वणः । अभि त्वा समनूषतेन्द्र वत्सं न मातरः ॥
O Indra, worthy of praise when the Soma is effused our songs hasten to you as charioteer, they low towards you as cows towards their calves.
english translation
आ त्वा॑ शु॒क्रा अ॑चुच्यवुः सु॒तास॑ इन्द्र गिर्वणः । पिबा॒ त्व१॒॑स्यान्ध॑स॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑सु ते हि॒तम् ॥ आ त्वा शुक्रा अचुच्यवुः सुतास इन्द्र गिर्वणः । पिबा त्वस्यान्धस इन्द्र विश्वासु ते हितम् ॥
Indra worthy of praise, let the bright Soma-libations come to you; drink your portion of the Soma; Indra,in all places it is fit for you.
english translation
पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कमिन्द्र॑ श्ये॒नाभृ॑तं सु॒तम् । त्वं हि शश्व॑तीनां॒ पती॒ राजा॑ वि॒शामसि॑ ॥ पिबा सोमं मदाय कमिन्द्र श्येनाभृतं सुतम् । त्वं हि शश्वतीनां पती राजा विशामसि ॥
Drink to your fill, Indra, the effused Soma brought, by the hawk, you are the lord of all the divine hosts,you are the self-resplendent.
english translation
श्रु॒धी हवं॑ तिर॒श्च्या इन्द्र॒ यस्त्वा॑ सप॒र्यति॑ । सु॒वीर्य॑स्य॒ गोम॑तो रा॒यस्पू॑र्धि म॒हाँ अ॑सि ॥ श्रुधी हवं तिरश्च्या इन्द्र यस्त्वा सपर्यति । सुवीर्यस्य गोमतो रायस्पूर्धि महाँ असि ॥
Hear, Indra, the prayer of Tiraści who worships you, and satisfy him with wealth bringing gallant offspring and cattle-- for you are mighty.
english translation
इन्द्र॒ यस्ते॒ नवी॑यसीं॒ गिरं॑ म॒न्द्रामजी॑जनत् । चि॒कि॒त्विन्म॑नसं॒ धियं॑ प्र॒त्नामृ॒तस्य॑ पि॒प्युषी॑म् ॥ इन्द्र यस्ते नवीयसीं गिरं मन्द्रामजीजनत् । चिकित्विन्मनसं धियं प्रत्नामृतस्य पिप्युषीम् ॥
To him who has made for you this newest joy-giving hymn, do you, Indra, (extend) your ancient truthful providence to which all hearts are known.”
