आ प॑प्राथ महि॒ना वृष्ण्या॑ वृष॒न्विश्वा॑ शविष्ठ॒ शव॑सा । अ॒स्माँ अ॑व मघव॒न्गोम॑ति व्र॒जे वज्रि॑ञ्चि॒त्राभि॑रू॒तिभि॑: ॥ आ पप्राथ महिना वृष्ण्या वृषन्विश्वा शविष्ठ शवसा । अस्माँ अव मघवन्गोमति व्रजे वज्रिञ्चित्राभिरूतिभिः ॥
Mightiest showerer (of blessings), you have filled all (our hosts) with your vast bountiful power; OMaghavan, thunderer, guard us with your manifold protections, (when we march) against the well-stockedcowpen of our enemies.
english translation
न सी॒मदे॑व आप॒दिषं॑ दीर्घायो॒ मर्त्य॑: । एत॑ग्वा चि॒द्य एत॑शा यु॒योज॑ते॒ हरी॒ इन्द्रो॑ यु॒योज॑ते ॥ न सीमदेव आपदिषं दीर्घायो मर्त्यः । एतग्वा चिद्य एतशा युयोजते हरी इन्द्रो युयोजते ॥
O long-lived Indra, the mortal who has not you as his deity obtains no food; (he who praises not) that steed-borne Indra, who yokes to his car the two variegated, who yokes the two bay steeds.
english translation
तं वो॑ म॒हो म॒हाय्य॒मिन्द्रं॑ दा॒नाय॑ स॒क्षणि॑म् । यो गा॒धेषु॒ य आर॑णेषु॒ हव्यो॒ वाजे॒ष्वस्ति॒ हव्य॑: ॥ तं वो महो महाय्यमिन्द्रं दानाय सक्षणिम् । यो गाधेषु य आरणेषु हव्यो वाजेष्वस्ति हव्यः ॥
Great (priests), worship that Indra who is propitiated by gifts; who is to be invoked in the shallows and in the depths, and who is to be invoked in battles.
english translation
उदू॒ षु णो॑ वसो म॒हे मृ॒शस्व॑ शूर॒ राध॑से । उदू॒ षु म॒ह्यै म॑घवन्म॒घत्त॑य॒ उदि॑न्द्र॒ श्रव॑से म॒हे ॥ उदू षु णो वसो महे मृशस्व शूर राधसे । उदू षु मह्यै मघवन्मघत्तय उदिन्द्र श्रवसे महे ॥
O hero, giver of dwellings, raise up to enjoy abundant food; raise us up, Maghavan, for abundant wealth; raise us up, Indra, for abundant fame.
english translation
त्वं न॑ इन्द्र ऋत॒युस्त्वा॒निदो॒ नि तृ॑म्पसि । मध्ये॑ वसिष्व तुविनृम्णो॒र्वोर्नि दा॒सं शि॑श्नथो॒ हथै॑: ॥ त्वं न इन्द्र ऋतयुस्त्वानिदो नि तृम्पसि । मध्ये वसिष्व तुविनृम्णोर्वोर्नि दासं शिश्नथो हथैः ॥
Indra, who delights in offerings, you satisfy us abundantly with (the possession of him) who despisesyou; O you possessed of vast wealth, shelter us between your thighs; you smite down the Dāsa with your blows.
