यमृ॒त्विजो॑ बहु॒धा क॒ल्पय॑न्त॒: सचे॑तसो य॒ज्ञमि॒मं वह॑न्ति । यो अ॑नूचा॒नो ब्रा॑ह्म॒णो यु॒क्त आ॑सी॒त्का स्वि॒त्तत्र॒ यज॑मानस्य सं॒वित् ॥ यमृत्विजो बहुधा कल्पयन्तः सचेतसो यज्ञमिमं वहन्ति । यो अनूचानो ब्राह्मणो युक्त आसीत्का स्वित्तत्र यजमानस्य संवित् ॥
He whom the wise priests bring, when they arrange the offering in many ways, who was employed as alearned brāhmaṇa, what is the offerer's knowledge regarding him?
english translation
एक॑ ए॒वाग्निर्ब॑हु॒धा समि॑द्ध॒ एक॒: सूर्यो॒ विश्व॒मनु॒ प्रभू॑तः । एकै॒वोषाः सर्व॑मि॒दं वि भा॒त्येकं॒ वा इ॒दं वि ब॑भूव॒ सर्व॑म् ॥ एक एवाग्निर्बहुधा समिद्ध एकः सूर्यो विश्वमनु प्रभूतः । एकैवोषाः सर्वमिदं वि भात्येकं वा इदं वि बभूव सर्वम् ॥
Agni is one, though kindled in various ways; one is the Sun, pre- eminent over all; one Dawn illuminesthis all; one is that which has become this all.
english translation
ज्योति॑ष्मन्तं केतु॒मन्तं॑ त्रिच॒क्रं सु॒खं रथं॑ सु॒षदं॒ भूरि॑वारम् । चि॒त्राम॑घा॒ यस्य॒ योगे॑ऽधिजज्ञे॒ तं वां॑ हु॒वे अति॑ रिक्तं॒ पिब॑ध्यै ॥ ज्योतिष्मन्तं केतुमन्तं त्रिचक्रं सुखं रथं सुषदं भूरिवारम् । चित्रामघा यस्य योगेऽधिजज्ञे तं वां हुवे अति रिक्तं पिबध्यै ॥
The brilliant chariot, diffusing splendour, rolling lightly on its three wheels, offering an easy seat, and fullof many gifts, at whose yoking the Dawn was born, rich in marvellous treasures, I invoke that your chariot (OAśvins), come you here to drink.
