प्र वी॒रमु॒ग्रं विवि॑चिं धन॒स्पृतं॒ विभू॑तिं॒ राध॑सो म॒हः । उ॒द्रीव॑ वज्रिन्नव॒तो व॑सुत्व॒ना सदा॑ पीपेथ दा॒शुषे॑ ॥ प्र वीरमुग्रं विविचिं धनस्पृतं विभूतिं राधसो महः । उद्रीव वज्रिन्नवतो वसुत्वना सदा पीपेथ दाशुषे ॥
Praise the mighty hero, wide-grasping, spoil-harrying, who has control over vast treasure; you, Othunderer ever pour forth wealth to the worshipper like an abundan fountain.
english translation
यद्ध॑ नू॒नं प॑रा॒वति॒ यद्वा॑ पृथि॒व्यां दि॒वि । यु॒जा॒न इ॑न्द्र॒ हरि॑भिर्महेमत ऋ॒ष्व ऋ॒ष्वेभि॒रा ग॑हि ॥ यद्ध नूनं परावति यद्वा पृथिव्यां दिवि । युजान इन्द्र हरिभिर्महेमत ऋष्व ऋष्वेभिरा गहि ॥
Whether you are in the far distance or in the earth or in heaven, O Indra, god of lofty counsel, yoke yoursteeds, come here, lofty one, with the lofty.
english translation
र॒थि॒रासो॒ हर॑यो॒ ये ते॑ अ॒स्रिध॒ ओजो॒ वात॑स्य॒ पिप्र॑ति । येभि॒र्नि दस्युं॒ मनु॑षो नि॒घोष॑यो॒ येभि॒: स्व॑: प॒रीय॑से ॥ रथिरासो हरयो ये ते अस्रिध ओजो वातस्य पिप्रति । येभिर्नि दस्युं मनुषो निघोषयो येभिः स्वः परीयसे ॥
Your harmless steeds which draw your chariot, which surpass the strength of the wind, with which yousilence the enemy of man and with which you go round the sky.
english translation
ए॒ताव॑तस्ते वसो वि॒द्याम॑ शूर॒ नव्य॑सः । यथा॒ प्राव॒ एत॑शं॒ कृत्व्ये॒ धने॒ यथा॒ वशं॒ दश॑व्रजे ॥ एतावतस्ते वसो विद्याम शूर नव्यसः । यथा प्राव एतशं कृत्व्ये धने यथा वशं दशव्रजे ॥
May we once more know you as such, O gracious hero, as when you did aid Etaśa in the decisive battle, or Vaśa against Daśavraja.
english translation
यथा॒ कण्वे॑ मघव॒न्मेधे॑ अध्व॒रे दी॒र्घनी॑थे॒ दमू॑नसि । यथा॒ गोश॑र्ये॒ असि॑षासो अद्रिवो॒ मयि॑ गो॒त्रं ह॑रि॒श्रिय॑म् ॥ यथा कण्वे मघवन्मेधे अध्वरे दीर्घनीथे दमूनसि । यथा गोशर्ये असिषासो अद्रिवो मयि गोत्रं हरिश्रियम् ॥
As you were willing to give, O Maghavan, to Kaṇva in the sacrificial feast, or to Dīrghanītha thefriend of the house, as you were willing to give, O slinger, to Gośarya, so give to me a herd of kine shining like gold.
