उ॒त त्वं म॑घवञ्छृणु॒ यस्ते॒ वष्टि॑ व॒वक्षि॒ तत् । यद्वी॒ळया॑सि वी॒ळु तत् ॥ उत त्वं मघवञ्छृणु यस्ते वष्टि ववक्षि तत् । यद्वीळयासि वीळु तत् ॥
O Maghavan, do you hear (our praise); whosoever desires of you, you bear to him his request, whatyou fix is sure.
english translation
यदा॒जिं यात्या॑जि॒कृदिन्द्र॑: स्वश्व॒युरुप॑ । र॒थीत॑मो र॒थीना॑म् ॥ यदाजिं यात्याजिकृदिन्द्रः स्वश्वयुरुप । रथीतमो रथीनाम् ॥
When Indra, the warrior, goes to battle, desirous of gallant steeds, he is the foremost of the lords of chariots.
english translation
वि षु विश्वा॑ अभि॒युजो॒ वज्रि॒न्विष्व॒ग्यथा॑ वृह । भवा॑ नः सु॒श्रव॑स्तमः ॥ वि षु विश्वा अभियुजो वज्रिन्विष्वग्यथा वृह । भवा नः सुश्रवस्तमः ॥
Thunderer, smite all your enemies that you may be scattered-- be to us a most abundant benefactor.
english translation
अ॒स्माकं॒ सु रथं॑ पु॒र इन्द्र॑: कृणोतु सा॒तये॑ । न यं धूर्व॑न्ति धू॒र्तय॑: ॥ अस्माकं सु रथं पुर इन्द्रः कृणोतु सातये । न यं धूर्वन्ति धूर्तयः ॥
May Indra, whom no foes can harm, send before us a beautiful chariot for the acquisition (of our desires).
english translation
वृ॒ज्याम॑ ते॒ परि॒ द्विषोऽरं॑ ते शक्र दा॒वने॑ । ग॒मेमेदि॑न्द्र॒ गोम॑तः ॥ वृज्याम ते परि द्विषोऽरं ते शक्र दावने । गमेमेदिन्द्र गोमतः ॥
Surround Indra, may we escape your enemies; may we come to you abundantly for your gifts, rich in cattle.
