स॒मा॒नम॒ञ्ज्ये॑षां॒ वि भ्रा॑जन्ते रु॒क्मासो॒ अधि॑ बा॒हुषु॑ । दवि॑द्युतत्यृ॒ष्टय॑: ॥ समानमञ्ज्येषां वि भ्राजन्ते रुक्मासो अधि बाहुषु । दविद्युतत्यृष्टयः ॥
Their decoration is the same; gold (necklaces) shine (on their breasts), lances gleam upon their shoulders.
english translation
त उ॒ग्रासो॒ वृष॑ण उ॒ग्रबा॑हवो॒ नकि॑ष्ट॒नूषु॑ येतिरे । स्थि॒रा धन्वा॒न्यायु॑धा॒ रथे॑षु॒ वोऽनी॑के॒ष्वधि॒ श्रिय॑: ॥ त उग्रासो वृषण उग्रबाहवो नकिष्टनूषु येतिरे । स्थिरा धन्वान्यायुधा रथेषु वोऽनीकेष्वधि श्रियः ॥
Fierce, vigorous, strong-armed, they need not exert (the energy of their) person ns; bows and arrows areready in your chariots; the glory (of conquest) over (hostile) armies is yours.
english translation
येषा॒मर्णो॒ न स॒प्रथो॒ नाम॑ त्वे॒षं शश्व॑ता॒मेक॒मिद्भु॒जे । वयो॒ न पित्र्यं॒ सह॑: ॥ येषामर्णो न सप्रथो नाम त्वेषं शश्वतामेकमिद्भुजे । वयो न पित्र्यं सहः ॥
One illustrious name is given to them all, as widely diffused as water for the gratification (of theirworshippers), like invigoraing paternal food.
english translation
तान्व॑न्दस्व म॒रुत॒स्ताँ उप॑ स्तुहि॒ तेषां॒ हि धुनी॑नाम् । अ॒राणां॒ न च॑र॒मस्तदे॑षां दा॒ना म॒ह्ना तदे॑षाम् ॥ तान्वन्दस्व मरुतस्ताँ उप स्तुहि तेषां हि धुनीनाम् । अराणां न चरमस्तदेषां दाना मह्ना तदेषाम् ॥
Praise them, praise the Maruts, for we are (dependen) upon those agitators (of all things) as a menial isupon his lords; therefore are their donations (characterized) by munificence; such are their (gifts).
english translation
सु॒भग॒: स व॑ ऊ॒तिष्वास॒ पूर्वा॑सु मरुतो॒ व्यु॑ष्टिषु । यो वा॑ नू॒नमु॒तास॑ति ॥ सुभगः स व ऊतिष्वास पूर्वासु मरुतो व्युष्टिषु । यो वा नूनमुतासति ॥
Fortunate was he, Maruts, who, in former days, was secure in your protections, as is he who now enjoys them.
