सिन्धूँ॑रिव प्रव॒ण आ॑शु॒या य॒तो यदि॒ क्लोश॒मनु॒ ष्वणि॑ । आ ये वयो॒ न वर्वृ॑त॒त्यामि॑षि गृभी॒ता बा॒ह्वोर्गवि॑ ॥ सिन्धूँरिव प्रवण आशुया यतो यदि क्लोशमनु ष्वणि । आ ये वयो न वर्वृतत्यामिषि गृभीता बाह्वोर्गवि ॥
Rushing rapidly like rivers in their downward course and although neighing loudly through trro, they yet, tight-girthed, return repeatedly (to the conflict) for cattle, like birds darting on their prey.
