इन्द्रं॑ वो॒ नर॑: स॒ख्याय॑ सेपुर्म॒हो यन्त॑: सुम॒तये॑ चका॒नाः । म॒हो हि दा॒ता वज्र॑हस्तो॒ अस्ति॑ म॒हामु॑ र॒ण्वमव॑से यजध्वम् ॥ इन्द्रं वो नरः सख्याय सेपुर्महो यन्तः सुमतये चकानाः । महो हि दाता वज्रहस्तो अस्ति महामु रण्वमवसे यजध्वम् ॥
Your priests, (oḥ worshippers), proppitiate Indra for his friendship, offering great (praise), and desirous of his favour; for the wielder of the thunderbolt is the giver of vast (wealth); worship him, therefore, who is mighty and benevolent, (to obtain) his protection.
english translation
आ यस्मि॒न्हस्ते॒ नर्या॑ मिमि॒क्षुरा रथे॑ हिर॒ण्यये॑ रथे॒ष्ठाः । आ र॒श्मयो॒ गभ॑स्त्योः स्थू॒रयो॒राध्व॒न्नश्वा॑सो॒ वृष॑णो युजा॒नाः ॥ आ यस्मिन्हस्ते नर्या मिमिक्षुरा रथे हिरण्यये रथेष्ठाः । आ रश्मयो गभस्त्योः स्थूरयोराध्वन्नश्वासो वृषणो युजानाः ॥
In whose hand (riches) good for man are accusative ulated, the chariot-mounted in a golden car; in whose arms the rays of light (are collected); whose vigorous horses, yoked (to his car, convey him) on the road (of the firmament).
english translation
श्रि॒ये ते॒ पादा॒ दुव॒ आ मि॑मिक्षुर्धृ॒ष्णुर्व॒ज्री शव॑सा॒ दक्षि॑णावान् । वसा॑नो॒ अत्कं॑ सुर॒भिं दृ॒शे कं स्व१॒॑र्ण नृ॑तविषि॒रो ब॑भूथ ॥ श्रिये ते पादा दुव आ मिमिक्षुर्धृष्णुर्वज्री शवसा दक्षिणावान् । वसानो अत्कं सुरभिं दृशे कं स्वर्ण नृतविषिरो बभूथ ॥
They offer adoration at your feet to acquire prosperity, for you are the overthrower of enemies by (your) strength, the wielder of the thunderbolt, the bestower of donations; leader (of rites), you are like the rolling sun, wearing in the sight (of all) a graceful and ever moving form.
english translation
स सोम॒ आमि॑श्लतमः सु॒तो भू॒द्यस्मि॑न्प॒क्तिः प॒च्यते॒ सन्ति॑ धा॒नाः । इन्द्रं॒ नर॑: स्तु॒वन्तो॑ ब्रह्मका॒रा उ॒क्था शंस॑न्तो दे॒ववा॑ततमाः ॥ स सोम आमिश्लतमः सुतो भूद्यस्मिन्पक्तिः पच्यते सन्ति धानाः । इन्द्रं नरः स्तुवन्तो ब्रह्मकारा उक्था शंसन्तो देववाततमाः ॥
That libation is most perfectly mixed when, upon its being effused, the cakes are baked, and the barley is fried, and the priests, glorifying Indra, offering the (sacrificial) food, and reciting holy prayers, are approaching most nigh to the gods.
english translation
न ते॒ अन्त॒: शव॑सो धाय्य॒स्य वि तु बा॑बधे॒ रोद॑सी महि॒त्वा । आ ता सू॒रिः पृ॑णति॒ तूतु॑जानो यू॒थेवा॒प्सु स॒मीज॑मान ऊ॒ती ॥ न ते अन्तः शवसो धाय्यस्य वि तु बाबधे रोदसी महित्वा । आ ता सूरिः पृणति तूतुजानो यूथेवाप्सु समीजमान ऊती ॥
No limit of your strength has been assigned; heaven and earth are intimidated by its greatness; the pious worshipper, hastening (to sacrifice), and earnestly performing worship, gratifies you with the offering, as (the cow-keeper satisfies) the herds with water.
