म॒रुत्व॑न्तं वृष॒भं वा॑वृधा॒नमक॑वारिं दि॒व्यं शा॒समिन्द्र॑म् । वि॒श्वा॒साह॒मव॑से॒ नूत॑नायो॒ग्रं स॑हो॒दामि॒ह तं हु॑वेम ॥ मरुत्वन्तं वृषभं वावृधानमकवारिं दिव्यं शासमिन्द्रम् । विश्वासाहमवसे नूतनायोग्रं सहोदामिह तं हुवेम ॥
We invoke on this occasion for his present protection, that Indra who is attended by the Maruts; who is the showerer (of benefits); augmenting (in prowess); the unreviled of foes, radiant, ruling, all-subduing, fierce, the giver of strength.
english translation
जनं॑ वज्रि॒न्महि॑ चि॒न्मन्य॑मानमे॒भ्यो नृभ्यो॑ रन्धया॒ येष्वस्मि॑ । अधा॒ हि त्वा॑ पृथि॒व्यां शूर॑सातौ॒ हवा॑महे॒ तन॑ये॒ गोष्व॒प्सु ॥ जनं वज्रिन्महि चिन्मन्यमानमेभ्यो नृभ्यो रन्धया येष्वस्मि । अधा हि त्वा पृथिव्यां शूरसातौ हवामहे तनये गोष्वप्सु ॥
Wielder of the thunderbolt, humble that man who looks upon himself as the greatest among those men of whom I am; we invoke you now to (ascend) upon the earth at the time of battle, and for (the sake of obtaining) sond and grandsons.

व॒यं त॑ ए॒भिः पु॑रुहूत स॒ख्यैः शत्रो॑:शत्रो॒रुत्त॑र॒ इत्स्या॑म । घ्नन्तो॑ वृ॒त्राण्यु॒भया॑नि शूर रा॒या म॑देम बृह॒ता त्वोता॑: ॥ वयं त एभिः पुरुहूत सख्यैः शत्रोःशत्रोरुत्तर इत्स्याम । घ्नन्तो वृत्राण्युभयानि शूर राया मदेम बृहता त्वोताः ॥
Invoked of many, may we, through these your friendly (praises), ever be superior to successive foes, destroying, oḥ hero, both (classes of) enemies, (kindred or unallied); and may we, protected by you, be happy with abundant riches.
