वि त॑न्वते॒ धियो॑ अस्मा॒ अपां॑सि॒ वस्त्रा॑ पु॒त्राय॑ मा॒तरो॑ वयन्ति । उ॒प॒प्र॒क्षे वृष॑णो॒ मोद॑माना दि॒वस्प॒था व॒ध्वो॑ य॒न्त्यच्छ॑ ॥ वि तन्वते धियो अस्मा अपांसि वस्त्रा पुत्राय मातरो वयन्ति । उपप्रक्षे वृषणो मोदमाना दिवस्पथा वध्वो यन्त्यच्छ ॥
To him (worshippers) multiply praises and acts of adoration; for (him as for) a son, the (divine) mothers weave garments (of light); rejoicing in the contact of their impregnation, the wives of the sun, (the solar rays), come to our presence by the path of the sky.
english translation
तद॑स्तु मित्रावरुणा॒ तद॑ग्ने॒ शं योर॒स्मभ्य॑मि॒दम॑स्तु श॒स्तम् । अ॒शी॒महि॑ गा॒धमु॒त प्र॑ति॒ष्ठां नमो॑ दि॒वे बृ॑ह॒ते साद॑नाय ॥ तदस्तु मित्रावरुणा तदग्ने शं योरस्मभ्यमिदमस्तु शस्तम् । अशीमहि गाधमुत प्रतिष्ठां नमो दिवे बृहते सादनाय ॥
May this (hymn), Mitra and Varuṇa, be valued (by you); may it, Agni, be valued (by you) as the means to us of happiness unmixed; may we (thence) obtain stability and permanence; reverence be to you and mighty asylum (of the universe).
