स॒म्यक्स्र॑वन्ति स॒रितो॒ न धेना॑ अ॒न्तर्हृ॒दा मन॑सा पू॒यमा॑नाः । ए॒ते अ॑र्षन्त्यू॒र्मयो॑ घृ॒तस्य॑ मृ॒गा इ॑व क्षिप॒णोरीष॑माणाः ॥ सम्यक्स्रवन्ति सरितो न धेना अन्तर्हृदा मनसा पूयमानाः । एते अर्षन्त्यूर्मयो घृतस्य मृगा इव क्षिपणोरीषमाणाः ॥
They flow uninterruptedly like plural asing rivers, purified by the mind that is seated in the heart; these streams of Ghī descend (upon the fire), like deer flying from the hunter.

सिन्धो॑रिव प्राध्व॒ने शू॑घ॒नासो॒ वात॑प्रमियः पतयन्ति य॒ह्वाः । घृ॒तस्य॒ धारा॑ अरु॒षो न वा॒जी काष्ठा॑ भि॒न्दन्नू॒र्मिभि॒: पिन्व॑मानः ॥ सिन्धोरिव प्राध्वने शूघनासो वातप्रमियः पतयन्ति यह्वाः । घृतस्य धारा अरुषो न वाजी काष्ठा भिन्दन्नूर्मिभिः पिन्वमानः ॥
The stream of Ghī fall copious, swift as the wind, and rapid as the waters of a river down a declivity, breaking through the confining banks, and hurrying on with their waves, like a high-spirited steed.

अ॒भि प्र॑वन्त॒ सम॑नेव॒ योषा॑: कल्या॒ण्य१॒॑: स्मय॑मानासो अ॒ग्निम् । घृ॒तस्य॒ धारा॑: स॒मिधो॑ नसन्त॒ ता जु॑षा॒णो ह॑र्यति जा॒तवे॑दाः ॥ अभि प्रवन्त समनेव योषाः कल्याण्यः स्मयमानासो अग्निम् । घृतस्य धाराः समिधो नसन्त ता जुषाणो हर्यति जातवेदाः ॥
The streams of Ghī incline to Agni as devoted wives, auspicious and smiling, to a husband; they feed (the flame) like fuel, and Jātavedas, propitiated, accepts them.
english translation
क॒न्या॑ इव वह॒तुमेत॒वा उ॑ अ॒ञ्ज्य॑ञ्जा॒ना अ॒भि चा॑कशीमि । यत्र॒ सोम॑: सू॒यते॒ यत्र॑ य॒ज्ञो घृ॒तस्य॒ धारा॑ अ॒भि तत्प॑वन्ते ॥ कन्या इव वहतुमेतवा उ अञ्ज्यञ्जाना अभि चाकशीमि । यत्र सोमः सूयते यत्र यज्ञो घृतस्य धारा अभि तत्पवन्ते ॥
I contemplate these streams of Ghī as they flow from where the Soma is effused, where the sacrifice (is solemnized), as maidens decorating themselves with unguents to go to the bridegroom.

अ॒भ्य॑र्षत सुष्टु॒तिं गव्य॑मा॒जिम॒स्मासु॑ भ॒द्रा द्रवि॑णानि धत्त । इ॒मं य॒ज्ञं न॑यत दे॒वता॑ नो घृ॒तस्य॒ धारा॒ मधु॑मत्पवन्ते ॥ अभ्यर्षत सुष्टुतिं गव्यमाजिमस्मासु भद्रा द्रविणानि धत्त । इमं यज्ञं नयत देवता नो घृतस्य धारा मधुमत्पवन्ते ॥
(Priests) address the pious praise, (the source) of herds of cattle; bestow upon us auspicious riches; convey this our sacrifice to the gods, (where at) the streams of Ghī with sweetness descend.
