धि॒षा यदि॑ धिष॒ण्यन्त॑: सर॒ण्यान्त्सद॑न्तो॒ अद्रि॑मौशि॒जस्य॒ गोहे॑ । आ दु॒रोषा॑: पा॒स्त्यस्य॒ होता॒ यो नो॑ म॒हान्त्सं॒वर॑णेषु॒ वह्नि॑: ॥ धिषा यदि धिषण्यन्तः सरण्यान्त्सदन्तो अद्रिमौशिजस्य गोहे । आ दुरोषाः पास्त्यस्य होता यो नो महान्त्संवरणेषु वह्निः ॥

When the repeaters of (his) commendations, abiding in the dwelling of the worshipper, approach Indra with praise, may he who is our (great) sustainer in conflicts, whose wrath is difficult to be (appeased), becomes the ministering priest of the master of the house.

english translation

dhi॒SA yadi॑ dhiSa॒Nyanta॑: sara॒NyAntsada॑nto॒ adri॑mauzi॒jasya॒ gohe॑ | A du॒roSA॑: pA॒styasya॒ hotA॒ yo no॑ ma॒hAntsaM॒vara॑NeSu॒ vahni॑: || dhiSA yadi dhiSaNyantaH saraNyAntsadanto adrimauzijasya gohe | A duroSAH pAstyasya hotA yo no mahAntsaMvaraNeSu vahniH ||

स॒त्रा यदीं॑ भार्व॒रस्य॒ वृष्ण॒: सिष॑क्ति॒ शुष्म॑: स्तुव॒ते भरा॑य । गुहा॒ यदी॑मौशि॒जस्य॒ गोहे॒ प्र यद्धि॒ये प्राय॑से॒ मदा॑य ॥ सत्रा यदीं भार्वरस्य वृष्णः सिषक्ति शुष्मः स्तुवते भराय । गुहा यदीमौशिजस्य गोहे प्र यद्धिये प्रायसे मदाय ॥

True it is that this might of the son of the protector of the world, the showerer (of benefits), affects for his advantage the offerer of praise; it (prevails) in the secret (thoughts) of the worshipper, and in his dwelling, for (the accomplishment of his) pious acts, (the attainment of his) desires, and his delight.

english translation

sa॒trA yadIM॑ bhArva॒rasya॒ vRSNa॒: siSa॑kti॒ zuSma॑: stuva॒te bharA॑ya | guhA॒ yadI॑mauzi॒jasya॒ gohe॒ pra yaddhi॒ye prAya॑se॒ madA॑ya || satrA yadIM bhArvarasya vRSNaH siSakti zuSmaH stuvate bharAya | guhA yadImauzijasya gohe pra yaddhiye prAyase madAya ||

वि यद्वरां॑सि॒ पर्व॑तस्य वृ॒ण्वे पयो॑भिर्जि॒न्वे अ॒पां जवां॑सि । वि॒दद्गौ॒रस्य॑ गव॒यस्य॒ गोहे॒ यदी॒ वाजा॑य सु॒ध्यो॒३॒॑ वह॑न्ति ॥ वि यद्वरांसि पर्वतस्य वृण्वे पयोभिर्जिन्वे अपां जवांसि । विदद्गौरस्य गवयस्य गोहे यदी वाजाय सुध्यो वहन्ति ॥

Inasmuch as he has opened the doors of the cloud, and has supplied the rapid courses of the waters with (additional) torrents, so when the pious have recourse to Indra for food, he finds (it) in the haunt of the Gaura and Gavaya.

vi yadvarAM॑si॒ parva॑tasya vR॒Nve payo॑bhirji॒nve a॒pAM javAM॑si | vi॒dadgau॒rasya॑ gava॒yasya॒ gohe॒ yadI॒ vAjA॑ya su॒dhyo॒3॒॑ vaha॑nti || vi yadvarAMsi parvatasya vRNve payobhirjinve apAM javAMsi | vidadgaurasya gavayasya gohe yadI vAjAya sudhyo vahanti ||

भ॒द्रा ते॒ हस्ता॒ सुकृ॑तो॒त पा॒णी प्र॑य॒न्तारा॑ स्तुव॒ते राध॑ इन्द्र । का ते॒ निष॑त्ति॒: किमु॒ नो म॑मत्सि॒ किं नोदु॑दु हर्षसे॒ दात॒वा उ॑ ॥ भद्रा ते हस्ता सुकृतोत पाणी प्रयन्तारा स्तुवते राध इन्द्र । का ते निषत्तिः किमु नो ममत्सि किं नोदुदु हर्षसे दातवा उ ॥

Your auspicious hands, Indra, are the doers of good deeds; your two hands, Indra, are the extenders of wealth to him who praises you; what, Indra, is this delay? why do you not exhilarate us? why are you not delighted to make us gifts?

bha॒drA te॒ hastA॒ sukR॑to॒ta pA॒NI pra॑ya॒ntArA॑ stuva॒te rAdha॑ indra | kA te॒ niSa॑tti॒: kimu॒ no ma॑matsi॒ kiM nodu॑du harSase॒ dAta॒vA u॑ || bhadrA te hastA sukRtota pANI prayantArA stuvate rAdha indra | kA te niSattiH kimu no mamatsi kiM nodudu harSase dAtavA u ||

ए॒वा वस्व॒ इन्द्र॑: स॒त्यः स॒म्राड्ढन्ता॑ वृ॒त्रं वरि॑वः पू॒रवे॑ कः । पुरु॑ष्टुत॒ क्रत्वा॑ नः शग्धि रा॒यो भ॑क्षी॒य तेऽव॑सो॒ दैव्य॑स्य ॥ एवा वस्व इन्द्रः सत्यः सम्राड्ढन्ता वृत्रं वरिवः पूरवे कः । पुरुष्टुत क्रत्वा नः शग्धि रायो भक्षीय तेऽवसो दैव्यस्य ॥

Thus (glorified), Indra, who is faithful (to his word), the lord of wealth, the slayer of Vṛtra, bestows rihes on man; so you, the praised of many, give us riches for our pious acts, that I may eat of your divine food.

e॒vA vasva॒ indra॑: sa॒tyaH sa॒mrADDhantA॑ vR॒traM vari॑vaH pU॒rave॑ kaH | puru॑STuta॒ kratvA॑ naH zagdhi rA॒yo bha॑kSI॒ya te'va॑so॒ daivya॑sya || evA vasva indraH satyaH samrADDhantA vRtraM varivaH pUrave kaH | puruSTuta kratvA naH zagdhi rAyo bhakSIya te'vaso daivyasya ||
