यो मर्त्ये॑ष्व॒मृत॑ ऋ॒तावा॑ दे॒वो दे॒वेष्व॑र॒तिर्नि॒धायि॑ । होता॒ यजि॑ष्ठो म॒ह्ना शु॒चध्यै॑ ह॒व्यैर॒ग्निर्मनु॑ष ईर॒यध्यै॑ ॥ यो मर्त्येष्वमृत ऋतावा देवो देवेष्वरतिर्निधायि । होता यजिष्ठो मह्ना शुचध्यै हव्यैरग्निर्मनुष ईरयध्यै ॥

He who has beenplaced immortal among the mortals, the observer of truth, a deity triumphant among gods, the invoker of the gods, the most diligent sacrificer, Agni; he has been plural ced (upon the altar) to lighten (the ceremony) by his (lustre), and for the elevation of the worshipper, through oblations (in heaven).

इ॒ह त्वं सू॑नो सहसो नो अ॒द्य जा॒तो जा॒ताँ उ॒भयाँ॑ अ॒न्तर॑ग्ने । दू॒त ई॑यसे युयुजा॒न ऋ॑ष्व ऋजुमु॒ष्कान्वृष॑णः शु॒क्राँश्च॑ ॥ इह त्वं सूनो सहसो नो अद्य जातो जाताँ उभयाँ अन्तरग्ने । दूत ईयसे युयुजान ऋष्व ऋजुमुष्कान्वृषणः शुक्राँश्च ॥

Agni, son of strength, genitive rated today at this our rite, as intermediate between both (gods and men) you proceed, the invoker (of the gods), harnessing, graceful Agni, your robust, vigorous, and resplendent steeds.

अत्या॑ वृध॒स्नू रोहि॑ता घृ॒तस्नू॑ ऋ॒तस्य॑ मन्ये॒ मन॑सा॒ जवि॑ष्ठा । अ॒न्तरी॑यसे अरु॒षा यु॑जा॒नो यु॒ष्माँश्च॑ दे॒वान्विश॒ आ च॒ मर्ता॑न् ॥ अत्या वृधस्नू रोहिता घृतस्नू ऋतस्य मन्ये मनसा जविष्ठा । अन्तरीयसे अरुषा युजानो युष्माँश्च देवान्विश आ च मर्तान् ॥

I celebrate the ruddy, food-bestowing, water- shedding, and swifter-than-thought-going, steeds of him who is the truth; harnessing the brilliant pair (to your chariot), you pass between the deities of whom you are, and human worshippers.

अ॒र्य॒मणं॒ वरु॑णं मि॒त्रमे॑षा॒मिन्द्रा॒विष्णू॑ म॒रुतो॑ अ॒श्विनो॒त । स्वश्वो॑ अग्ने सु॒रथ॑: सु॒राधा॒ एदु॑ वह सुह॒विषे॒ जना॑य ॥ अर्यमणं वरुणं मित्रमेषामिन्द्राविष्णू मरुतो अश्विनोत । स्वश्वो अग्ने सुरथः सुराधा एदु वह सुहविषे जनाय ॥

Possessed, Agni, of good steeds, an excellent car, and abundant wealth, do you amidst these (worshippers) bring to the man who offers worthy oblations, Aryaman, Varuṇa, Mitra, Viṣṇu, the Maruts, or the Aśvins.

गोमाँ॑ अ॒ग्नेऽवि॑माँ अ॒श्वी य॒ज्ञो नृ॒वत्स॑खा॒ सद॒मिद॑प्रमृ॒ष्यः । इळा॑वाँ ए॒षो अ॑सुर प्र॒जावा॑न्दी॒र्घो र॒यिः पृ॑थुबु॒ध्नः स॒भावा॑न् ॥ गोमाँ अग्नेऽविमाँ अश्वी यज्ञो नृवत्सखा सदमिदप्रमृष्यः । इळावाँ एषो असुर प्रजावान्दीर्घो रयिः पृथुबुध्नः सभावान् ॥

May the sacrifice, Agni, be productive of cows, of sheep, of horses, and celebrated by your worshipper, aided by the priests, be ever uninterrupted; may it, mighty Agni, be productive of food and progeny, long continued, affluent, wide based, and held in full assembly.
