यस्त॑ इ॒ध्मं ज॒भर॑त्सिष्विदा॒नो मू॒र्धानं॑ वा त॒तप॑ते त्वा॒या । भुव॒स्तस्य॒ स्वत॑वाँ: पा॒युर॑ग्ने॒ विश्व॑स्मात्सीमघाय॒त उ॑रुष्य ॥ यस्त इध्मं जभरत्सिष्विदानो मूर्धानं वा ततपते त्वाया । भुवस्तस्य स्वतवाँ: पायुरग्ने विश्वस्मात्सीमघायत उरुष्य ॥
You are the munificent recompenser of that man who, sweating (with toil), brings you fuel, and for your service causes his head to ache; protect him, Agni from every one that seeks to do him evil.
english translation
यस्ते॒ भरा॒दन्नि॑यते चि॒दन्नं॑ नि॒शिष॑न्म॒न्द्रमति॑थिमु॒दीर॑त् । आ दे॑व॒युरि॒नध॑ते दुरो॒णे तस्मि॑न्र॒यिर्ध्रु॒वो अ॑स्तु॒ दास्वा॑न् ॥ यस्ते भरादन्नियते चिदन्नं निशिषन्मन्द्रमतिथिमुदीरत् । आ देवयुरिनधते दुरोणे तस्मिन्रयिर्ध्रुवो अस्तु दास्वान् ॥
May a son, firm in (devotion) and liberal (in offerings), be born to him who presents (sacrificial) food to you when needing food, who gives you constantly the exhilarating (Soma juice), who welcomes you as a guest, and devoutly kindles you in his mansion.
english translation
यस्त्वा॑ दो॒षा य उ॒षसि॑ प्र॒शंसा॑त्प्रि॒यं वा॑ त्वा कृ॒णव॑ते ह॒विष्मा॑न् । अश्वो॒ न स्वे दम॒ आ हे॒म्यावा॒न्तमंह॑सः पीपरो दा॒श्वांस॑म् ॥ यस्त्वा दोषा य उषसि प्रशंसात्प्रियं वा त्वा कृणवते हविष्मान् । अश्वो न स्वे दम आ हेम्यावान्तमंहसः पीपरो दाश्वांसम् ॥
Preserve from sin the liberal sacrificer who glorifies you morning and evening, and presenting oblations, does what is acceptable to you in his own abode, like a horse with golden caparisons.
english translation
यस्तुभ्य॑मग्ने अ॒मृता॑य॒ दाश॒द्दुव॒स्त्वे कृ॒णव॑ते य॒तस्रु॑क् । न स रा॒या श॑शमा॒नो वि यो॑ष॒न्नैन॒मंह॒: परि॑ वरदघा॒योः ॥ यस्तुभ्यमग्ने अमृताय दाशद्दुवस्त्वे कृणवते यतस्रुक् । न स राया शशमानो वि योषन्नैनमंहः परि वरदघायोः ॥
Let not him who makes offerings to you Agni who are immortal, who with uplifted ladle pours out oblations repeating your praise, ever want riches, and let not the wickeness of a malevolent (foe) circumvent him.
english translation
यस्य॒ त्वम॑ग्ने अध्व॒रं जुजो॑षो दे॒वो मर्त॑स्य॒ सुधि॑तं॒ ररा॑णः । प्री॒तेद॑स॒द्धोत्रा॒ सा य॑वि॒ष्ठासा॑म॒ यस्य॑ विध॒तो वृ॒धास॑: ॥ यस्य त्वमग्ने अध्वरं जुजोषो देवो मर्तस्य सुधितं रराणः । प्रीतेदसद्धोत्रा सा यविष्ठासाम यस्य विधतो वृधासः ॥
May that prayer be agreeable to you, Agni, who are a gracious deity, (which is uttered) by the man with whose well-conducted sacrifice you are well plural ased young (of the gods), of whose (rites) when worshipping you may we be the promoters.
