त्वं म॒हीम॒वनिं॑ वि॒श्वधे॑नां तु॒र्वीत॑ये व॒य्या॑य॒ क्षर॑न्तीम् । अर॑मयो॒ नम॒सैज॒दर्ण॑: सुतर॒णाँ अ॑कृणोरिन्द्र॒ सिन्धू॑न् ॥ त्वं महीमवनिं विश्वधेनां तुर्वीतये वय्याय क्षरन्तीम् । अरमयो नमसैजदर्णः सुतरणाँ अकृणोरिन्द्र सिन्धून् ॥

You have made the vast, all-cherishing, and exuberant earth, delighted with (abundant) food, and tremulous water, for (the sake of) Turvīti and Vayyā; you have made the rivers easy to be crossed.

english translation

tvaM ma॒hIma॒vaniM॑ vi॒zvadhe॑nAM tu॒rvIta॑ye va॒yyA॑ya॒ kSara॑ntIm | ara॑mayo॒ nama॒saija॒darNa॑: sutara॒NA~ a॑kRNorindra॒ sindhU॑n || tvaM mahImavaniM vizvadhenAM turvItaye vayyAya kSarantIm | aramayo namasaijadarNaH sutaraNA~ akRNorindra sindhUn ||

प्राग्रुवो॑ नभ॒न्वो॒३॒॑ न वक्वा॑ ध्व॒स्रा अ॑पिन्वद्युव॒तीॠ॑त॒ज्ञाः । धन्वा॒न्यज्राँ॑ अपृणक्तृषा॒णाँ अधो॒गिन्द्र॑: स्त॒र्यो॒३॒॑ दंसु॑पत्नीः ॥ प्राग्रुवो नभन्वो न वक्वा ध्वस्रा अपिन्वद्युवतीॠतज्ञाः । धन्वान्यज्राँ अपृणक्तृषाणाँ अधोगिन्द्रः स्तर्यो दंसुपत्नीः ॥

Indra has filled the youthful rivers, the parents of plural nty, the corroders (of their banks), like armies destructive (of their foes); he has inundated the dry lands, and (satisfied) the thirsty travellers; he has milked the barren cows whom the asuras had become the lords .

पू॒र्वीरु॒षस॑: श॒रद॑श्च गू॒र्ता वृ॒त्रं ज॑घ॒न्वाँ अ॑सृज॒द्वि सिन्धू॑न् । परि॑ष्ठिता अतृणद्बद्बधा॒नाः सी॒रा इन्द्र॒: स्रवि॑तवे पृथि॒व्या ॥ पूर्वीरुषसः शरदश्च गूर्ता वृत्रं जघन्वाँ असृजद्वि सिन्धून् । परिष्ठिता अतृणद्बद्बधानाः सीरा इन्द्रः स्रवितवे पृथिव्या ॥

Having slain Vṛtra, he has liberated many mornings and years (that had been) swallowed up by darkness, and has set the rivers free; Indra has released the imprisoned rivers, encompassed (by the cloud), to flow upon the earth.

व॒म्रीभि॑: पु॒त्रम॒ग्रुवो॑ अदा॒नं नि॒वेश॑नाद्धरिव॒ आ ज॑भर्थ । व्य१॒॑न्धो अ॑ख्य॒दहि॑माददा॒नो निर्भू॑दुख॒च्छित्सम॑रन्त॒ पर्व॑ ॥ वम्रीभिः पुत्रमग्रुवो अदानं निवेशनाद्धरिव आ जभर्थ । व्यन्धो अख्यदहिमाददानो निर्भूदुखच्छित्समरन्त पर्व ॥

Lord of horses, you have brought the son of Agru from his dwelling, where he was being devoured by the ants; when extricated, although blind, he distinguished the serpent; and when he came forth the joints that had been sundered in the ant-hill were restrung.

va॒mrIbhi॑: pu॒trama॒gruvo॑ adA॒naM ni॒veza॑nAddhariva॒ A ja॑bhartha | vya1॒॑ndho a॑khya॒dahi॑mAdadA॒no nirbhU॑dukha॒cchitsama॑ranta॒ parva॑ || vamrIbhiH putramagruvo adAnaM nivezanAddhariva A jabhartha | vyandho akhyadahimAdadAno nirbhUdukhacchitsamaranta parva ||

प्र ते॒ पूर्वा॑णि॒ कर॑णानि विप्रावि॒द्वाँ आ॑ह वि॒दुषे॒ करां॑सि । यथा॑यथा॒ वृष्ण्या॑नि॒ स्वगू॒र्तापां॑सि राज॒न्नर्यावि॑वेषीः ॥ प्र ते पूर्वाणि करणानि विप्राविद्वाँ आह विदुषे करांसि । यथायथा वृष्ण्यानि स्वगूर्तापांसि राजन्नर्याविवेषीः ॥

The sage, (Vāmadeva), knowing, royal Indra, the ancient deeds of you who are all wise, has proclaimed the actions, such as you ahve performed them, genitive rative of rain, self-evolved, and beneficial to man.
