यान्वो॒ नरो॑ देव॒यन्तो॑ निमि॒म्युर्वन॑स्पते॒ स्वधि॑तिर्वा त॒तक्ष॑ । ते दे॒वास॒: स्वर॑वस्तस्थि॒वांस॑: प्र॒जाव॑द॒स्मे दि॑धिषन्तु॒ रत्न॑म् ॥ यान्वो नरो देवयन्तो निमिम्युर्वनस्पते स्वधितिर्वा ततक्ष । ते देवासः स्वरवस्तस्थिवांसः प्रजावदस्मे दिधिषन्तु रत्नम् ॥
May those (posts) which devout men have cut down, or which, Vanaspati, the axe has trimmed, may they standing resplendent with all their parts (entire) bestow upon us wealth with progeny.
english translation
ये वृ॒क्णासो॒ अधि॒ क्षमि॒ निमि॑तासो य॒तस्रु॑चः । ते नो॑ व्यन्तु॒ वार्यं॑ देव॒त्रा क्षे॑त्र॒साध॑सः ॥ ये वृक्णासो अधि क्षमि निमितासो यतस्रुचः । ते नो व्यन्तु वार्यं देवत्रा क्षेत्रसाधसः ॥
May those posts which have been cut down upon the earth, and which have been fabricated by the priests, those which are the accomplishers of the sacrifice, convey our acceptable (offering) to the gods.
english translation
आ॒दि॒त्या रु॒द्रा वस॑वः सुनी॒था द्यावा॒क्षामा॑ पृथि॒वी अ॒न्तरि॑क्षम् । स॒जोष॑सो य॒ज्ञम॑वन्तु दे॒वा ऊ॒र्ध्वं कृ॑ण्वन्त्वध्व॒रस्य॑ के॒तुम् ॥ आदित्या रुद्रा वसवः सुनीथा द्यावाक्षामा पृथिवी अन्तरिक्षम् । सजोषसो यज्ञमवन्तु देवा ऊर्ध्वं कृण्वन्त्वध्वरस्य केतुम् ॥
May the leaders of the rite, the divine Ādityas, Rudras, Vasus, Heaven and Earth, the Earth, the firmament, well plural ased, protect our sacrifice; let them raise aloft the standard of the ceremony.
english translation
हं॒सा इ॑व श्रेणि॒शो यता॑नाः शु॒क्रा वसा॑ना॒: स्वर॑वो न॒ आगु॑: । उ॒न्नी॒यमा॑नाः क॒विभि॑: पु॒रस्ता॑द्दे॒वा दे॒वाना॒मपि॑ यन्ति॒ पाथ॑: ॥ हंसा इव श्रेणिशो यतानाः शुक्रा वसानाः स्वरवो न आगुः । उन्नीयमानाः कविभिः पुरस्ताद्देवा देवानामपि यन्ति पाथः ॥
Arrayed in bright (garments), entire (in their parts), these pillars ranging in rows like swans, have come to us erected by pious sages on the east( of the fire); they proceed resplendent on the path of the gods.
english translation
शृङ्गा॑णी॒वेच्छृ॒ङ्गिणां॒ सं द॑दृश्रे च॒षाल॑वन्त॒: स्वर॑वः पृथि॒व्याम् । वा॒घद्भि॑र्वा विह॒वे श्रोष॑माणा अ॒स्माँ अ॑वन्तु पृत॒नाज्ये॑षु ॥ शृङ्गाणीवेच्छृङ्गिणां सं ददृश्रे चषालवन्तः स्वरवः पृथिव्याम् । वाघद्भिर्वा विहवे श्रोषमाणा अस्माँ अवन्तु पृतनाज्येषु ॥
Entire in all parts and girded with rings, they appear upon the earth like the horns of horned cattle; hearing (their praises) by the priests; may they protect us in battles.
