उ॒तो पि॒तृभ्यां॑ प्र॒विदानु॒ घोषं॑ म॒हो म॒हद्भ्या॑मनयन्त शू॒षम् । उ॒क्षा ह॒ यत्र॒ परि॒ धान॑म॒क्तोरनु॒ स्वं धाम॑ जरि॒तुर्व॒वक्ष॑ ॥ उतो पितृभ्यां प्रविदानु घोषं महो महद्भ्यामनयन्त शूषम् । उक्षा ह यत्र परि धानमक्तोरनु स्वं धाम जरितुर्ववक्ष ॥
Verily (men) bring great delight to Agni by glorifying aloud the mighty parents (heaven and earth), when the shedder of rain approximates his own radiance to the worshipper, (wherewith) to invest the night.
english translation
अ॒ध्व॒र्युभि॑: प॒ञ्चभि॑: स॒प्त विप्रा॑: प्रि॒यं र॑क्षन्ते॒ निहि॑तं प॒दं वेः । प्राञ्चो॑ मदन्त्यु॒क्षणो॑ अजु॒र्या दे॒वा दे॒वाना॒मनु॒ हि व्र॒ता गुः ॥ अध्वर्युभिः पञ्चभिः सप्त विप्राः प्रियं रक्षन्ते निहितं पदं वेः । प्राञ्चो मदन्त्युक्षणो अजुर्या देवा देवानामनु हि व्रता गुः ॥
Seven sages with five ministering priests attend the station that is prepared for the rapid (Agni); the undecaying divine (sages), with their faces to the east, sprinkling (the libations), rejoice as they celebrate the worship of the gods.
english translation
दैव्या॒ होता॑रा प्रथ॒मा न्यृ॑ञ्जे स॒प्त पृ॒क्षास॑: स्व॒धया॑ मदन्ति । ऋ॒तं शंस॑न्त ऋ॒तमित्त आ॑हु॒रनु॑ व्र॒तं व्र॑त॒पा दीध्या॑नाः ॥ दैव्या होतारा प्रथमा न्यृञ्जे सप्त पृक्षासः स्वधया मदन्ति । ऋतं शंसन्त ऋतमित्त आहुरनु व्रतं व्रतपा दीध्यानाः ॥
I propitiate the two first divine offerers of sacrifices; the seven (priests) rejoice with the libation; the illustrious celebrators of holy worship, reciting (his) praises, have called Agni the true (object) of every rite.
english translation
वृ॒षा॒यन्ते॑ म॒हे अत्या॑य पू॒र्वीर्वृष्णे॑ चि॒त्राय॑ र॒श्मय॑: सुया॒माः । देव॑ होतर्म॒न्द्रत॑रश्चिकि॒त्वान्म॒हो दे॒वान्रोद॑सी॒ एह व॑क्षि ॥ वृषायन्ते महे अत्याय पूर्वीर्वृष्णे चित्राय रश्मयः सुयामाः । देव होतर्मन्द्रतरश्चिकित्वान्महो देवान्रोदसी एह वक्षि ॥
Divine invoker of the gods, the vast and widespreading rays shed (moisture) for you, the mighty, the victorius, the wonderful, the showerer (of benefits); do you who are all knowing, joy-bestowing, bring hither the great gods, and heaven and earth.

पृ॒क्षप्र॑यजो द्रविणः सु॒वाच॑: सुके॒तव॑ उ॒षसो॑ रे॒वदू॑षुः । उ॒तो चि॑दग्ने महि॒ना पृ॑थि॒व्याः कृ॒तं चि॒देन॒: सं म॒हे द॑शस्य ॥ पृक्षप्रयजो द्रविणः सुवाचः सुकेतव उषसो रेवदूषुः । उतो चिदग्ने महिना पृथिव्याः कृतं चिदेनः सं महे दशस्य ॥
Ever-moving (Agni) may the mornings rise for us, abounding with oblations, with pious prayers, and with auspicious signs, and conferring wealth; and do you with the might of your (diffusive flame), consume all sin on behalf of your respectable (worshipper).
