ऋ॒भुश्च॑क्र॒ ईड्यं॒ चारु॒ नाम॒ विश्वा॑नि दे॒वो व॒युना॑नि वि॒द्वान् । स॒सस्य॒ चर्म॑ घृ॒तव॑त्प॒दं वेस्तदिद॒ग्नी र॑क्ष॒त्यप्र॑युच्छन् ॥ ऋभुश्चक्र ईड्यं चारु नाम विश्वानि देवो वयुनानि विद्वान् । ससस्य चर्म घृतवत्पदं वेस्तदिदग्नी रक्षत्यप्रयुच्छन् ॥
The mighty, divine Agni knowing all (things) that are to be known, made the commendable and beautiful water, the glossy skin, the station of the diffused slumbering (Agni), and, ever vigilant preserves it.
english translation
आ योनि॑म॒ग्निर्घृ॒तव॑न्तमस्थात्पृ॒थुप्र॑गाणमु॒शन्त॑मुशा॒नः । दीद्या॑न॒: शुचि॑ॠ॒ष्वः पा॑व॒कः पुन॑:पुनर्मा॒तरा॒ नव्य॑सी कः ॥ आ योनिमग्निर्घृतवन्तमस्थात्पृथुप्रगाणमुशन्तमुशानः । दीद्यानः शुचिॠष्वः पावकः पुनःपुनर्मातरा नव्यसी कः ॥
Agni has taken his station in an asylum, brilliant, much-lauded, and as desirous (of receiving him) as he is (torepair to it); radiant, pure, vast and purifying, he repeatedly renovates his parents, (Heaven and Earth).
english translation
स॒द्यो जा॒त ओष॑धीभिर्ववक्षे॒ यदी॒ वर्ध॑न्ति प्र॒स्वो॑ घृ॒तेन॑ । आप॑ इव प्र॒वता॒ शुम्भ॑माना उरु॒ष्यद॒ग्निः पि॒त्रोरु॒पस्थे॑ ॥ सद्यो जात ओषधीभिर्ववक्षे यदी वर्धन्ति प्रस्वो घृतेन । आप इव प्रवता शुम्भमाना उरुष्यदग्निः पित्रोरुपस्थे ॥
As soon as genitive rated he is borne aloft by the plural nts, which grow flourishing by moisture, as the beautifying waters descend; may he, in the bosom of his parents, protect us.

उदु॑ ष्टु॒तः स॒मिधा॑ य॒ह्वो अ॑द्यौ॒द्वर्ष्म॑न्दि॒वो अधि॒ नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्याः । मि॒त्रो अ॒ग्निरीड्यो॑ मात॒रिश्वा दू॒तो व॑क्षद्य॒जथा॑य दे॒वान् ॥ उदु ष्टुतः समिधा यह्वो अद्यौद्वर्ष्मन्दिवो अधि नाभा पृथिव्याः । मित्रो अग्निरीड्यो मातरिश्वा दूतो वक्षद्यजथाय देवान् ॥
Praised and (nourished) by fuel, the mighty Agni, stationed on the (altar the) navel of the earth, in the form of the firmament, has shone (brightly); may the friendly and adorable Agni who respires in the mid-heaven, the messenger (of the gods), bring them to the sacrifice.

उद॑स्तम्भीत्स॒मिधा॒ नाक॑मृ॒ष्वो॒३॒॑ऽग्निर्भव॑न्नुत्त॒मो रो॑च॒नाना॑म् । यदी॒ भृगु॑भ्य॒: परि॑ मात॒रिश्वा॒ गुहा॒ सन्तं॑ हव्य॒वाहं॑ समी॒धे ॥ उदस्तम्भीत्समिधा नाकमृष्वोऽग्निर्भवन्नुत्तमो रोचनानाम् । यदी भृगुभ्यः परि मातरिश्वा गुहा सन्तं हव्यवाहं समीधे ॥
The mighty Agni, being the best of the heavenly luminaries, sustained the heaven with radiance, when the wind kindled the bearer of oblations, (till then concealed) in a cave from the Bhṛgus.
