अ॒ग्निर्दे॒वेभि॒र्मनु॑षश्च ज॒न्तुभि॑स्तन्वा॒नो य॒ज्ञं पु॑रु॒पेश॑सं धि॒या । र॒थीर॒न्तरी॑यते॒ साध॑दिष्टिभिर्जी॒रो दमू॑ना अभिशस्ति॒चात॑नः ॥ अग्निर्देवेभिर्मनुषश्च जन्तुभिस्तन्वानो यज्ञं पुरुपेशसं धिया । रथीरन्तरीयते साधदिष्टिभिर्जीरो दमूना अभिशस्तिचातनः ॥
Perfecting the performance the multiform sacrifice of the worshipper, along with the gods to whom solemnities have been addressed, and together withthe priests, Agni, the charioteer, the swift-moving, the humble-minded, the destroyer of foes, passes along between (heaven and earth).
english translation
अग्ने॒ जर॑स्व स्वप॒त्य आयु॑न्यू॒र्जा पि॑न्वस्व॒ समिषो॑ दिदीहि नः । वयां॑सि जिन्व बृह॒तश्च॑ जागृव उ॒शिग्दे॒वाना॒मसि॑ सु॒क्रतु॑र्वि॒पाम् ॥ अग्ने जरस्व स्वपत्य आयुन्यूर्जा पिन्वस्व समिषो दिदीहि नः । वयांसि जिन्व बृहतश्च जागृव उशिग्देवानामसि सुक्रतुर्विपाम् ॥
Agni, praise (the gods that we may enjoy) good offspring and long life; propitiate them by libations; bestow upon us plural ntiful crops; ever vigilant, gran tfood to the respectable (instrumental tutor of this ceremony), for you are the desired of the gods, the object of the pious acts of the devout.
english translation
वि॒श्पतिं॑ य॒ह्वमति॑थिं॒ नर॒: सदा॑ य॒न्तारं॑ धी॒नामु॒शिजं॑ च वा॒घता॑म् । अ॒ध्व॒राणां॒ चेत॑नं जा॒तवे॑दसं॒ प्र शं॑सन्ति॒ नम॑सा जू॒तिभि॑र्वृ॒धे ॥ विश्पतिं यह्वमतिथिं नरः सदा यन्तारं धीनामुशिजं च वाघताम् । अध्वराणां चेतनं जातवेदसं प्र शंसन्ति नमसा जूतिभिर्वृधे ॥
The leaderes (of holy rites) praise with prostration, for (the sake of) increase, the mighty lord of people, the guest (of men), the regulator eternally of acts, he desired of the priests, the exposition of sacrifices, Jātavedas, endowed with (divine) energies.
english translation
वि॒भावा॑ दे॒वः सु॒रण॒: परि॑ क्षि॒तीर॒ग्निर्ब॑भूव॒ शव॑सा सु॒मद्र॑थः । तस्य॑ व्र॒तानि॑ भूरिपो॒षिणो॑ व॒यमुप॑ भूषेम॒ दम॒ आ सु॑वृ॒क्तिभि॑: ॥ विभावा देवः सुरणः परि क्षितीरग्निर्बभूव शवसा सुमद्रथः । तस्य व्रतानि भूरिपोषिणो वयमुप भूषेम दम आ सुवृक्तिभिः ॥
The resplendent and adorable Agni, riding in an auspicious chariot, has comprehended the whole earth by his vigour; let us glorify with fit praises the acts of that cherisher of multitudes in his own abode.
english translation
वैश्वा॑नर॒ तव॒ धामा॒न्या च॑के॒ येभि॑: स्व॒र्विदभ॑वो विचक्षण । जा॒त आपृ॑णो॒ भुव॑नानि॒ रोद॑सी॒ अग्न॒ू ता विश्वा॑ परि॒भूर॑सि॒ त्मना॑ ॥ वैश्वानर तव धामान्या चके येभिः स्वर्विदभवो विचक्षण । जात आपृणो भुवनानि रोदसी अग्ने ता विश्वा परिभूरसि त्मना ॥
Vaiśvānara, I celebrate your energies, whereby, O sage, you have become omniscient; as soon as born, Agni, you have occupied the realms (of space), and heaven and earth, and have comprehended all these with yourself.
