pra vo॑ de॒vAyA॒gnaye॒ barhi॑SThamarcAsmai | gama॑dde॒vebhi॒rA sa no॒ yaji॑STho ba॒rhirA sa॑dat || pra vo devAyAgnaye barhiSThamarcAsmai | gamaddevebhirA sa no yajiSTho barhirA sadat ||
The observer of truth, of whom (are) heaven and earth, and whose vigour the protecting (deities) assist; him, the offerers of oblations adore, and those desirous of riches (have recourse) to him for protection.
स य॒न्ता विप्र॑ एषां॒ स य॒ज्ञाना॒मथा॒ हि षः । अ॒ग्निं तं वो॑ दुवस्यत॒ दाता॒ यो वनि॑ता म॒घम् ॥ स यन्ता विप्र एषां स यज्ञानामथा हि षः । अग्निं तं वो दुवस्यत दाता यो वनिता मघम् ॥
He, the sage, is the director of those (who sacrifice), he is (the regulator) of sacrifices; worship him you (benefactor), the donor, who is the bestower of wealth.
sa ya॒ntA vipra॑ eSAM॒ sa ya॒jJAnA॒mathA॒ hi SaH | a॒gniM taM vo॑ duvasyata॒ dAtA॒ yo vani॑tA ma॒gham || sa yantA vipra eSAM sa yajJAnAmathA hi SaH | agniM taM vo duvasyata dAtA yo vanitA magham ||
May that Agni bestow upon us prosperous dwellings for our maintenance, so that from him infinite wealth, whether it may be in heaven or from earth, or in the waters (may come to us).
sa na॒: zarmA॑Ni vI॒taye॒'gnirya॑cchatu॒ zaMta॑mA | yato॑ naH pru॒SNava॒dvasu॑ di॒vi kSi॒tibhyo॑ a॒psvA || sa naH zarmANi vItaye'gniryacchatu zaMtamA | yato naH pruSNavadvasu divi kSitibhyo apsvA ||
The devout kindle (the fire) with his wealth-obtaining rites, (to worship) the radiant, unpreceded Agni, the invoker (of the gods), the protector of men.
