इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ ग॑तं सु॒तं गी॒र्भिर्नभो॒ वरे॑ण्यम् । अ॒स्य पा॑तं धि॒येषि॒ता ॥ इन्द्राग्नी आ गतं सुतं गीर्भिर्नभो वरेण्यम् । अस्य पातं धियेषिता ॥
Indra and Agni, come to this acceptable libation, (brought) by our praises from heaven, and induced by (our) devotion to drink of it.
english translation
इन्द्रा॑ग्नी जरि॒तुः सचा॑ य॒ज्ञो जि॑गाति॒ चेत॑नः । अ॒या पा॑तमि॒मं सु॒तम् ॥ इन्द्राग्नी जरितुः सचा यज्ञो जिगाति चेतनः । अया पातमिमं सुतम् ॥
Indra and Agni, the conscious sacrifice associated with the worshipper proceeds to you; (summoned) by this (invocation) drink the libation.
english translation
इन्द्र॑म॒ग्निं क॑वि॒च्छदा॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॑ जू॒त्या वृ॑णे । ता सोम॑स्ये॒ह तृ॑म्पताम् ॥ इन्द्रमग्निं कविच्छदा यज्ञस्य जूत्या वृणे । ता सोमस्येह तृम्पताम् ॥
Urged by the energy of the sacrifice, I have recourse to Indra and Agni, the protectors of the pious; may they be satiated with the Soma here presented.
english translation
तो॒शा वृ॑त्र॒हणा॑ हुवे स॒जित्वा॒नाप॑राजिता । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी वा॑ज॒सात॑मा ॥ तोशा वृत्रहणा हुवे सजित्वानापराजिता । इन्द्राग्नी वाजसातमा ॥
I invoke Indra and Agni, the discomfiters of foes, the destroyers of Vṛtra, the victorious, the invincible, the bestowers of most abundant food.
english translation
प्र वा॑मर्चन्त्यु॒क्थिनो॑ नीथा॒विदो॑ जरि॒तार॑: । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ इष॒ आ वृ॑णे ॥ प्र वामर्चन्त्युक्थिनो नीथाविदो जरितारः । इन्द्राग्नी इष आ वृणे ॥
The reciters of prayers, the repeaters of praise, who are skilled in sacred song, worship you both; I have recourse to Indra and Agni for food.
