सु॒गो हि वो॑ अर्यमन्मित्र॒ पन्था॑ अनृक्ष॒रो व॑रुण सा॒धुरस्ति॑ । तेना॑दित्या॒ अधि॑ वोचता नो॒ यच्छ॑ता नो दुष्परि॒हन्तु॒ शर्म॑ ॥ सुगो हि वो अर्यमन्मित्र पन्था अनृक्षरो वरुण साधुरस्ति । तेनादित्या अधि वोचता नो यच्छता नो दुष्परिहन्तु शर्म ॥
Aryaman, Mitra and Varuṇa, easy is the path (you show us), and free from thorns, and plural asant; therefore, Ādityas (lead us) by (it); speak to us favourably, and grant us happiness difficult to be disturbed.
english translation
पिप॑र्तु नो॒ अदि॑ती॒ राज॑पु॒त्राति॒ द्वेषां॑स्यर्य॒मा सु॒गेभि॑: । बृ॒हन्मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ शर्मोप॑ स्याम पुरु॒वीरा॒ अरि॑ष्टाः ॥ पिपर्तु नो अदिती राजपुत्राति द्वेषांस्यर्यमा सुगेभिः । बृहन्मित्रस्य वरुणस्य शर्मोप स्याम पुरुवीरा अरिष्टाः ॥
May Aditi, the mother of royal song, plural ce us beyond the malice (of our enemies); may Aryaman lead us by easy paths, and may we, blessed with many descendants, and safe from harm, attain the great happiness of Mitra and Varuṇa.
english translation
ति॒स्रो भूमी॑र्धारय॒न्त्रीँरु॒त द्यून्त्रीणि॑ व्र॒ता वि॒दथे॑ अ॒न्तरे॑षाम् । ऋ॒तेना॑दित्या॒ महि॑ वो महि॒त्वं तद॑र्यमन्वरुण मित्र॒ चारु॑ ॥ तिस्रो भूमीर्धारयन्त्रीँरुत द्यून्त्रीणि व्रता विदथे अन्तरेषाम् । ऋतेनादित्या महि वो महित्वं तदर्यमन्वरुण मित्र चारु ॥
They uphold the three worlds, the three heavens, and in their sacrifices three ceremonies (are comprised); by truth, Ādityas, has your great might (been produced), such as is most excellent; Aryaman, Mitra and Varuṇa.
english translation
त्री रो॑च॒ना दि॒व्या धा॑रयन्त हिर॒ण्यया॒: शुच॑यो॒ धार॑पूताः । अस्व॑प्नजो अनिमि॒षा अद॑ब्धा उरु॒शंसा॑ ऋ॒जवे॒ मर्त्या॑य ॥ त्री रोचना दिव्या धारयन्त हिरण्ययाः शुचयो धारपूताः । अस्वप्नजो अनिमिषा अदब्धा उरुशंसा ऋजवे मर्त्याय ॥
The Ādityas, decorated with golden ornaments, brilliant, purified by showers, who never slumber, nor close their eyelids, who are unassailable, and praised by many, uphold the three bright heavenly regions for the sake of the upright man.
english translation
त्वं विश्वे॑षां वरुणासि॒ राजा॒ ये च॑ दे॒वा अ॑सुर॒ ये च॒ मर्ता॑: । श॒तं नो॑ रास्व श॒रदो॑ वि॒चक्षे॒ऽश्यामायूं॑षि॒ सुधि॑तानि॒ पूर्वा॑ ॥ त्वं विश्वेषां वरुणासि राजा ये च देवा असुर ये च मर्ताः । शतं नो रास्व शरदो विचक्षेऽश्यामायूंषि सुधितानि पूर्वा ॥
Varuṇa, destroyer of foes, you are the sovereign over all, whether they be gods or mortals; grant to us to behold a hundred years, and that we may enjoy lives such as were enjoyed by ancient (sages).
