मत्स्यपा॑यि ते॒ मह॒: पात्र॑स्येव हरिवो मत्स॒रो मद॑: । वृषा॑ ते॒ वृष्ण॒ इन्दु॑र्वा॒जी स॑हस्र॒सात॑मः ॥ मत्स्यपायि ते महः पात्रस्येव हरिवो मत्सरो मदः । वृषा ते वृष्ण इन्दुर्वाजी सहस्रसातमः ॥
Lord of steeds, you are exhilarated when the sacred (Soma) has been imbibed by you as by its (appropriate) vessel; for to you, showerer (of benefits), it is exhilarating, inebriating, invigorating, the yielder of delight, (satisfying as) food, and the giver of a thousand (plural asures).

matsyapA॑yi te॒ maha॒: pAtra॑syeva harivo matsa॒ro mada॑: । vRSA॑ te॒ vRSNa॒ indu॑rvA॒jI sa॑hasra॒sAta॑maH ॥ matsyapAyi te mahaH pAtrasyeva harivo matsaro madaH । vRSA te vRSNa indurvAjI sahasrasAtamaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआ न॑स्ते गन्तु मत्स॒रो वृषा॒ मदो॒ वरे॑ण्यः । स॒हावाँ॑ इन्द्र सान॒सिः पृ॑तना॒षाळम॑र्त्यः ॥ आ नस्ते गन्तु मत्सरो वृषा मदो वरेण्यः । सहावाँ इन्द्र सानसिः पृतनाषाळमर्त्यः ॥
May our soma libation reach you, (for it is) exhilarating, invigorating, inebriating, most precious; it is companionable, Indra, enjoyable, the over-thrower of hosts, immortal.
english translation
A na॑ste gantu matsa॒ro vRSA॒ mado॒ vare॑NyaH । sa॒hAvA~॑ indra sAna॒siH pR॑tanA॒SALama॑rtyaH ॥ A naste gantu matsaro vRSA mado vareNyaH । sahAvA~ indra sAnasiH pRtanASALamartyaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वं हि शूर॒: सनि॑ता चो॒दयो॒ मनु॑षो॒ रथ॑म् । स॒हावा॒न्दस्यु॑मव्र॒तमोष॒: पात्रं॒ न शो॒चिषा॑ ॥ त्वं हि शूरः सनिता चोदयो मनुषो रथम् । सहावान्दस्युमव्रतमोषः पात्रं न शोचिषा ॥
You are a hero, a benefactor, accelerate the vehicle of man (that bears him to heaven); consume, mightyone, the irreligious Dasyu, as a (woode) vessel is burnt by fire.

tvaM hi zUra॒: sani॑tA co॒dayo॒ manu॑So॒ ratha॑m । sa॒hAvA॒ndasyu॑mavra॒tamoSa॒: pAtraM॒ na zo॒ciSA॑ ॥ tvaM hi zUraH sanitA codayo manuSo ratham । sahAvAndasyumavratamoSaH pAtraM na zociSA ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमु॒षा॒य सूर्यं॑ कवे च॒क्रमीशा॑न॒ ओज॑सा । वह॒ शुष्णा॑य व॒धं कुत्सं॒ वात॒स्याश्वै॑: ॥ मुषाय सूर्यं कवे चक्रमीशान ओजसा । वह शुष्णाय वधं कुत्सं वातस्याश्वैः ॥
Sage Indra, who are the lord, you have carried off by your strength one wheel of (the chariot of) the sun. Take up your bolt for the death of Śuṣṇa, and proceed with your horses, swift as the wind, to Kutsa.
english translation
mu॒SA॒ya sUryaM॑ kave ca॒kramIzA॑na॒ oja॑sA । vaha॒ zuSNA॑ya va॒dhaM kutsaM॒ vAta॒syAzvai॑: ॥ muSAya sUryaM kave cakramIzAna ojasA । vaha zuSNAya vadhaM kutsaM vAtasyAzvaiH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशु॒ष्मिन्त॑मो॒ हि ते॒ मदो॑ द्यु॒म्निन्त॑म उ॒त क्रतु॑: । वृ॒त्र॒घ्ना व॑रिवो॒विदा॑ मंसी॒ष्ठा अ॑श्व॒सात॑मः ॥ शुष्मिन्तमो हि ते मदो द्युम्निन्तम उत क्रतुः । वृत्रघ्ना वरिवोविदा मंसीष्ठा अश्वसातमः ॥
Your inebriety is most intense; nevertheless, your acts (for our good) are most beneficent. You desire, bountiful giver of horses, that (both your inebriety and your beneficence should be the means of) destroying enemies and distributing riches.
