प्रति॒ प्र या॑हीन्द्र मी॒ळ्हुषो॒ नॄन्म॒हः पार्थि॑वे॒ सद॑ने यतस्व । अध॒ यदे॑षां पृथुबु॒ध्नास॒ एता॑स्ती॒र्थे नार्यः पौंस्या॑नि त॒स्थुः ॥ प्रति प्र याहीन्द्र मीळ्हुषो नॄन्महः पार्थिवे सदने यतस्व । अध यदेषां पृथुबुध्नास एतास्तीर्थे नार्यः पौंस्यानि तस्थुः ॥
Go, Indra, to the mighty rain-shedding leaders (of the clouds), and exert yourself in (thine) aerial dwelling; for their broad-footed steeds stand (firm), like the manly energies of an enemy in the field of battle.

prati॒ pra yA॑hIndra mI॒LhuSo॒ nRRnma॒haH pArthi॑ve॒ sada॑ne yatasva । adha॒ yade॑SAM pRthubu॒dhnAsa॒ etA॑stI॒rthe nAryaH pauMsyA॑ni ta॒sthuH ॥ prati pra yAhIndra mILhuSo nRRnmahaH pArthive sadane yatasva । adha yadeSAM pRthubudhnAsa etAstIrthe nAryaH pauMsyAni tasthuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रति॑ घो॒राणा॒मेता॑नाम॒यासां॑ म॒रुतां॑ शृण्व आय॒तामु॑प॒ब्दिः । ये मर्त्यं॑ पृतना॒यन्त॒मूमै॑ॠणा॒वानं॒ न प॒तय॑न्त॒ सर्गै॑: ॥ प्रति घोराणामेतानामयासां मरुतां शृण्व आयतामुपब्दिः । ये मर्त्यं पृतनायन्तमूमैॠणावानं न पतयन्त सर्गैः ॥
The noise of the formidable, dark-coloured, swift-moving and advancing Maruts, is everywhere echoed; (the noise) of them who strike down their mortal (foes) gathering in a host against them, by their self-defending blows, as (they strike down) a contemptible enemy.
english translation
prati॑ gho॒rANA॒metA॑nAma॒yAsAM॑ ma॒rutAM॑ zRNva Aya॒tAmu॑pa॒bdiH । ye martyaM॑ pRtanA॒yanta॒mUmai॑RRNA॒vAnaM॒ na pa॒taya॑nta॒ sargai॑: ॥ prati ghorANAmetAnAmayAsAM marutAM zRNva AyatAmupabdiH । ye martyaM pRtanAyantamUmaiRRNAvAnaM na patayanta sargaiH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वं माने॑भ्य इन्द्र वि॒श्वज॑न्या॒ रदा॑ म॒रुद्भि॑: शु॒रुधो॒ गोअ॑ग्राः । स्तवा॑नेभिः स्तवसे देव दे॒वैर्वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम् ॥ त्वं मानेभ्य इन्द्र विश्वजन्या रदा मरुद्भिः शुरुधो गोअग्राः । स्तवानेभिः स्तवसे देव देवैर्विद्यामेषं वृजनं जीरदानुम् ॥
Associated with the Maruts, do you, Indra, for your own honour and the good of all, pierce the exhilarating receptacles of the waters, for you, Indra, are glorified by the lauded divinities; may we obtain for you food, strength, and long life.

tvaM mAne॑bhya indra vi॒zvaja॑nyA॒ radA॑ ma॒rudbhi॑: zu॒rudho॒ goa॑grAH । stavA॑nebhiH stavase deva de॒vairvi॒dyAme॒SaM vR॒janaM॑ jI॒radA॑num ॥ tvaM mAnebhya indra vizvajanyA radA marudbhiH zurudho goagrAH । stavAnebhiH stavase deva devairvidyAmeSaM vRjanaM jIradAnum ॥
