आ म॑नी॒षाम॒न्तरि॑क्षस्य॒ नृभ्य॑: स्रु॒चेव॑ घृ॒तं जु॑हवाम वि॒द्मना॑ । त॒र॒णि॒त्वा ये पि॒तुर॑स्य सश्चि॒र ऋ॒भवो॒ वाज॑मरुहन्दि॒वो रज॑: ॥ आ मनीषामन्तरिक्षस्य नृभ्यः स्रुचेव घृतं जुहवाम विद्मना । तरणित्वा ये पितुरस्य सश्चिर ऋभवो वाजमरुहन्दिवो रजः ॥

sanskrit

To the leaders (of the sacrifice), dwelling in the firmament, we present, as with a ladle, the appointed clarified butter, and praise with knowledge those Ṛbhus, who, having equalled the velocityof the protector (of the universe, the sun), ascended to the region of heaven, through (the offerings) of (sacrificial) food.

english translation

A ma॑nI॒SAma॒ntari॑kSasya॒ nRbhya॑: sru॒ceva॑ ghR॒taM ju॑havAma vi॒dmanA॑ | ta॒ra॒Ni॒tvA ye pi॒tura॑sya sazci॒ra R॒bhavo॒ vAja॑maruhandi॒vo raja॑: || A manISAmantarikSasya nRbhyaH sruceva ghRtaM juhavAma vidmanA | taraNitvA ye piturasya sazcira Rbhavo vAjamaruhandivo rajaH ||

ऋ॒भुर्न॒ इन्द्र॒: शव॑सा॒ नवी॑यानृ॒भुर्वाजे॑भि॒र्वसु॑भि॒र्वसु॑र्द॒दिः । यु॒ष्माकं॑ देवा॒ अव॒साह॑नि प्रि॒ये॒३॒॑ऽभि ति॑ष्ठेम पृत्सु॒तीरसु॑न्वताम् ॥ ऋभुर्न इन्द्रः शवसा नवीयानृभुर्वाजेभिर्वसुभिर्वसुर्ददिः । युष्माकं देवा अवसाहनि प्रियेऽभि तिष्ठेम पृत्सुतीरसुन्वताम् ॥

The most excellent Ṛbhu is in strength our defender; Ṛbhu, through gifts of food and of wealth, is our asylum; may he bestow them upon us, Gods, through your protection; may we, upon a favourable occasion, overcome the hosts of those who offer no libations.

english translation

R॒bhurna॒ indra॒: zava॑sA॒ navI॑yAnR॒bhurvAje॑bhi॒rvasu॑bhi॒rvasu॑rda॒diH | yu॒SmAkaM॑ devA॒ ava॒sAha॑ni pri॒ye॒3॒॑'bhi ti॑SThema pRtsu॒tIrasu॑nvatAm || Rbhurna indraH zavasA navIyAnRbhurvAjebhirvasubhirvasurdadiH | yuSmAkaM devA avasAhani priye'bhi tiSThema pRtsutIrasunvatAm ||

निश्चर्म॑ण ऋभवो॒ गाम॑पिंशत॒ सं व॒त्सेना॑सृजता मा॒तरं॒ पुन॑: । सौध॑न्वनासः स्वप॒स्यया॑ नरो॒ जिव्री॒ युवा॑ना पि॒तरा॑कृणोतन ॥ निश्चर्मण ऋभवो गामपिंशत सं वत्सेनासृजता मातरं पुनः । सौधन्वनासः स्वपस्यया नरो जिव्री युवाना पितराकृणोतन ॥

sanskrit

Ṛbhus, you covered the cow with a hide, and reunited themother with the calf; sons of Sudhanvan, leaders (of sacrifice), through your good works you rendered your aged parents young.

english translation

nizcarma॑Na Rbhavo॒ gAma॑piMzata॒ saM va॒tsenA॑sRjatA mA॒taraM॒ puna॑: | saudha॑nvanAsaH svapa॒syayA॑ naro॒ jivrI॒ yuvA॑nA pi॒tarA॑kRNotana || nizcarmaNa Rbhavo gAmapiMzata saM vatsenAsRjatA mAtaraM punaH | saudhanvanAsaH svapasyayA naro jivrI yuvAnA pitarAkRNotana ||

वाजे॑भिर्नो॒ वाज॑सातावविड्ढ्यृभु॒माँ इ॑न्द्र चि॒त्रमा द॑र्षि॒ राध॑: । तन्नो॑ मि॒त्रो वरु॑णो मामहन्ता॒मदि॑ति॒: सिन्धु॑: पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौः ॥ वाजेभिर्नो वाजसातावविड्ढ्यृभुमाँ इन्द्र चित्रमा दर्षि राधः । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥

Indra, associated with the Ṛbhus, supply us, in the distribution of viands, with food, and consent to bestow upon us wonderful riches; and may Mitra, Varuṇa, Aditi--ocean, earth, and heaven, preserve them fo rus.
