प्र च॑र्ष॒णिभ्य॑: पृतना॒हवे॑षु॒ प्र पृ॑थि॒व्या रि॑रिचाथे दि॒वश्च॑ । प्र सिन्धु॑भ्य॒: प्र गि॒रिभ्यो॑ महि॒त्वा प्रेन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॒नात्य॒न्या ॥ प्र चर्षणिभ्यः पृतनाहवेषु प्र पृथिव्या रिरिचाथे दिवश्च । प्र सिन्धुभ्यः प्र गिरिभ्यो महित्वा प्रेन्द्राग्नी विश्वा भुवनात्यन्या ॥
Attending to the summons at the time of battle, you surpass all me (in magnitude); you are vaster than the earth, than the sky, than the rivers, than the mountains; you exceed all other existent things.
english translation
आ भ॑रतं॒ शिक्ष॑तं वज्रबाहू अ॒स्माँ इ॑न्द्राग्नी अवतं॒ शची॑भिः । इ॒मे नु ते र॒श्मय॒: सूर्य॑स्य॒ येभि॑: सपि॒त्वं पि॒तरो॑ न॒ आस॑न् ॥ आ भरतं शिक्षतं वज्रबाहू अस्माँ इन्द्राग्नी अवतं शचीभिः । इमे नु ते रश्मयः सूर्यस्य येभिः सपित्वं पितरो न आसन् ॥
Bring wealth, thunderers, and give it to us; protect us, Indra and Agni, by your deeds; may those rays of the sun, by which our forefathers have attained together a hevenly region, shine also upon us.
english translation
पुरं॑दरा॒ शिक्ष॑तं वज्रहस्ता॒स्माँ इ॑न्द्राग्नी अवतं॒ भरे॑षु । तन्नो॑ मि॒त्रो वरु॑णो मामहन्ता॒मदि॑ति॒: सिन्धु॑: पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौः ॥ पुरंदरा शिक्षतं वज्रहस्तास्माँ इन्द्राग्नी अवतं भरेषु । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥
Indra and Agni, wielders of the thunderbolt, overturners of cities, grant us wealth, defens us in battles; and may Mitra, Varuṇa, Aditi--ocean, earth and heaven, be propitious to this (our prayer).
