तत्त॑ इन्द्रि॒यं प॑र॒मं प॑रा॒चैरधा॑रयन्त क॒वय॑: पु॒रेदम् । क्ष॒मेदम॒न्यद्दि॒व्य१॒॑न्यद॑स्य॒ समी॑ पृच्यते सम॒नेव॑ के॒तुः ॥ तत्त इन्द्रियं परमं पराचैरधारयन्त कवयः पुरेदम् । क्षमेदमन्यद्दिव्यन्यदस्य समी पृच्यते समनेव केतुः ॥
The sages have formerly been possessed of this your supreme power, Indra, as if it were present with them, one light of whom shines upon the earth, the other in heaven, and both are in combination with each other, as banner (mingles with banner) in battle.
english translation
स धा॑रयत्पृथि॒वीं प॒प्रथ॑च्च॒ वज्रे॑ण ह॒त्वा निर॒पः स॑सर्ज । अह॒न्नहि॒मभि॑नद्रौहि॒णं व्यह॒न्व्यं॑सं म॒घवा॒ शची॑भिः ॥ स धारयत्पृथिवीं पप्रथच्च वज्रेण हत्वा निरपः ससर्ज । अहन्नहिमभिनद्रौहिणं व्यहन्व्यंसं मघवा शचीभिः ॥
He upholds, and has spread out, the earth; having struck (the clouds), he has extricated the waters; he has slain Ahi, he has pierced Rauhiṇa, he has destroyed, by his prowess, the mutilated (Vṛtra).
english translation
स जा॒तूभ॑र्मा श्र॒द्दधा॑न॒ ओज॒: पुरो॑ विभि॒न्दन्न॑चर॒द्वि दासी॑: । वि॒द्वान्व॑ज्रि॒न्दस्य॑वे हे॒तिम॒स्यार्यं॒ सहो॑ वर्धया द्यु॒म्नमि॑न्द्र ॥ स जातूभर्मा श्रद्दधान ओजः पुरो विभिन्दन्नचरद्वि दासीः । विद्वान्वज्रिन्दस्यवे हेतिमस्यार्यं सहो वर्धया द्युम्नमिन्द्र ॥
Armed with the thunderbolt, and confident in his strength, he has gone on destroying the cities of the Dasyus. Thunderer, acknowledging (the praises of your worshipper) cast, for his sake, your shaft agains the Dasyu, and augment the strength and glory of the Ārya.

तदू॒चुषे॒ मानु॑षे॒मा यु॒गानि॑ की॒र्तेन्यं॑ म॒घवा॒ नाम॒ बिभ्र॑त् । उ॒प॒प्र॒यन्द॑स्यु॒हत्या॑य व॒ज्री यद्ध॑ सू॒नुः श्रव॑से॒ नाम॑ द॒धे ॥ तदूचुषे मानुषेमा युगानि कीर्तेन्यं मघवा नाम बिभ्रत् । उपप्रयन्दस्युहत्याय वज्री यद्ध सूनुः श्रवसे नाम दधे ॥
Maghavan, possessing a name that is to be glorified, offers to him who celebrates it, these (revolving) ages of man; the thunderer, the scatterer (of his foes), sallying forth to destroy the Dasyus, has obtained a name (renowned for victorious) prowess.

तद॑स्ये॒दं प॑श्यता॒ भूरि॑ पु॒ष्टं श्रदिन्द्र॑स्य धत्तन वी॒र्या॑य । स गा अ॑विन्द॒त्सो अ॑विन्द॒दश्वा॒न्त्स ओष॑धी॒: सो अ॒पः स वना॑नि ॥ तदस्येदं पश्यता भूरि पुष्टं श्रदिन्द्रस्य धत्तन वीर्याय । स गा अविन्दत्सो अविन्ददश्वान्त्स ओषधीः सो अपः स वनानि ॥
Behold this, the vast and extensive (might of Indra); have confidence in his prowess; he has recovered the cattle, he has recovered the horses, the plural nts, the waters, the woods.
