शचीसुतश्चापि तथा जयन्तस्तस्य सारथिम् । तं चापि रावणिः क्रुद्धः समन्तात्प्रत्यविध्यत ॥ 7-28-11 ॥
And the son of Shachi, Jayanta, likewise struck at his charioteer; and at him too the enraged son of Ravana shot back from every side.
english translation
स हि क्रोधसमाविष्टो बली विस्फारितेक्षणः । रावणिः शक्रतनयं शरवर्षैरवाकिरत् ॥ 7-28-12 ॥
For that mighty son of Ravana, possessed by wrath and with his eyes wide open, covered the son of Indra with showers of arrows.
english translation
ततो नानाप्रहरणाञ्छितधारान्सहस्रशः । पातयामास सङ्क्रुद्धः सुरसैन्येषु रावणिः ॥ 7-28-13 ॥
Then in his fury the son of Ravana brought down by the thousands, upon the armies of the gods, weapons of many kinds with sharpened edges.
english translation
शतघ्नीमुसलप्रासगदाखड्गपरश्वधान् । महान्ति गिरिशृङ्गाणि पातयामास रावणिः ॥ 7-28-14 ॥
The son of Ravana hurled down shataghnis, pestles, javelins, maces, swords, axes, and great mountain peaks.
english translation
ततः प्रव्यथिता लोकाः सञ्जज्ञे च तमो ऽभवत् । तस्य रावणपुत्रस्य शत्रुसैन्यानि निघ्नतः ॥ 7-28-15 ॥
Then the worlds were afflicted and darkness came on, as that son of Ravana struck down the armies of the enemy.
