परमापद्गतस्यापि धर्मे मम मतिर्भवेत् । अशिक्षितं च ब्रह्मास्त्रं भगवन्प्रतिभातु मे ॥ 7-10-31 ॥
Even when fallen into the gravest calamity, may my mind remain fixed upon dharma; and may the Brahmastra, though never taught to me, manifest itself to me, O Blessed Lord.
english translation
या या मे जायते बुद्धिर्येषु येष्वाश्रमेषु च । सा सा भवतु धर्मिष्ठा तं तु धर्मं च पालये ॥ 7-10-32 ॥
Whatever thought may arise in me, in whatever stages of life and conditions, may each such thought be most righteous, and may I uphold that dharma.
english translation
एष मे परमोदार वरः परमको मतः । नहि धर्माभिरक्तानां लोके किञ्चन दुर्लभम् ॥ 7-10-33 ॥
This, O most generous one, is the supreme boon I esteem; for to those devoted to dharma nothing in the world is hard to attain."
english translation
पुनः प्रजापतिः प्रीतो विभीषणमुवाच ह । धर्मिष्ठस्त्वं यथा वत्स तथा चैतद्भविष्यति ॥ 7-10-34 ॥
Again the Lord of Creatures, pleased, said to Vibhishana: "Righteous as you are, my child, so shall it come to pass.
english translation
यस्माद्राक्षसयोनौ ते जातस्यामित्रनाशन । नाधर्मे जायते बुद्धिरमरत्वं ददामि ते ॥ 7-10-35 ॥
Since, though born in the womb of the Rakshasas, O destroyer of foes, no thought of unrighteousness arises in you, I grant you immortality."
