तदा सर्वावरणमलापेतस्य ज्ञानस्यानन्त्याज्ज्ञेयमल्पम् ॥४-३१॥
After removal all of Afflictions and all Karmas; all the covering of ignorance also eliminates itself. Then the Yogi gets that knowledge of purest form in grater amount and the knowledge which is not known is very less.

क्लेशों और सकाम कर्मों के समाप्त होने पर योगी के ज्ञान को ढकने वाले अज्ञान रूपी सभी मल दूर हो जाते हैं । इससे प्राप्त विशुद्ध ज्ञान अधिक मात्रा में होने पर योगी द्वारा जानने योग्य थोड़ा ही ज्ञान शेष बचता है ।

ततः कृतार्थानां परिणामक्रमसमाप्तिर्गुणानाम् ॥४-३२॥
Then the gunas terminate their sequence of transformations because they have fulfilled their purpose.

धर्ममेघ समाधि के बाद अपने सभी कार्यों को पूरा कर चुके गुणों के परिणाम के उत्पत्ति का क्रम समाप्त हो जाता है ।

क्षणप्रतियोगी परिणामापरान्तनिर्ग्राह्यः क्रमः ॥४-३३॥
The sequence (referred to above) means an uninterrupted succession of moments which can be recognized at the end of their transformations.

हर एक क्षण ( पल ) के बाद होने वाले क्षण ( पल ) को ही क्रम कहते हैं । अर्थात क्षणों का एक निर्बाध सिलसिला है जिसे उनके परिवर्तनों के अंत में पहचाना जा सकता है।

पुरुषार्थशून्यानां गुणानां प्रतिप्रसवः कैवल्यं स्वरूपप्रतिष्ठा वा चितिशक्तिरिति ॥४-३४॥
Since the gunas no longer have any purpose to serve for the Atman, they resolve themselves into Prakriti. This is liberation. The Atman shines forth in its own pristine nature, as pure consciousness.

इस जीवन के प्रयोजन अथवा लक्ष्य से रहित हुए गुणों का वापिस अपने कारण में लीन हो जाना ही कैवल्य मुक्ति होता है । या आत्मा का अपने वास्तविक स्वरूप में स्थित हो जाना ही मोक्ष कहलाता है ।
