For those who are liberated, this Prakriti (seen) is as if it has been destroyed as it has no purpose for them. But for other ordinary men, its purpose is still the same. Therefore it is not destroyed for them.

In the absence of ignorance the union of Prakriti and Purusha is also lacking. This absence is called Haan i.e freedom from sorrow. Freedom from sorrow is also considered as Kaivalya i.e salvation of the soul.
