प्रकाशक्रियास्थितिशीलं भूतेन्द्रियात्मकं भोगापवर्गार्थं दृश्यम्॥२-१८॥

sanskrit

Whose nature is illumination (Sat), activity (Rajas), and stability (Tamas), is composed of elements and organs and serves the purpose of experience and emancipation is known as Prakriti the seen.

विशेषाविशेषलिङ्गमात्रालिङ्गानि गुणपर्वाणि॥२-१९॥

Which are five physical elements, five sense organs, five motor organs and one mind, five tanmatras and one ego, one Mahatattva or intellect and one nature (Sattva, Raja, Tama). These are the Vishesha, Avishesha, Linga and Alinga or their divisions of all the qualities respectively.

द्रष्टा दृशिमात्रः शुद्धोऽपि प्रत्ययानुपश्यः॥२-२०॥

sanskrit

The one pure consciousness (knowledgeable) seer is Purusha or Drishta. That is devoid of vices like ignorance and darkness but because of the contact of Prakriti it becomes as the vrittis of it (Prakriti) and sees the world according to it only.
