प्राङ्ग्मुखस्तु ततः कुर्यात्पुरुषस्त्रीनपुंसकैः । त्रिपद्या सूत्रभृद्रुद्रब्रह्मोपेन्द्राभिवादनम् ॥ ९६॥
Then, facing east, the Sūtradhāra (Director) should perform salutations to Rudra, Brahmā, and Upendra (Viṣṇu) using the three-footed movement, characterized as masculine, feminine, and neuter.

prAGgmukhastu tataH kuryAtpuruSastrInapuMsakaiH । tripadyA sUtrabhRdrudrabrahmopendrAbhivAdanam ॥ 96॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्षिणं तु पदं पुंसो वामं स्त्रीणां प्रकीर्तितम् । पुनर्दक्षिणमेव स्यान्नात्युत्क्षिप्तं नपुंसकम् ॥ ९७॥
The right foot is designated as masculine, the left as feminine. The right foot, when not raised too high, is considered neuter.

dakSiNaM tu padaM puMso vAmaM strINAM prakIrtitam । punardakSiNameva syAnnAtyutkSiptaM napuMsakam ॥ 97॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवन्देत पौरुषेणेशं स्त्रीपदेन जनार्दनम् । नपुंसक्पदेनापि तथैवाम्बुजसम्भवम् ॥ ९८॥
One should worship Īśa (Lord Śiva) with the masculine step, Janārdana (Viṣṇu) with the feminine step, and the Lotus-born (Brahmā) with the neuter step.

vandeta pauruSeNezaM strIpadena janArdanam । napuMsakpadenApi tathaivAmbujasambhavam ॥ 98॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरिवर्तनमेवं स्यात्तस्यान्ते प्रविशेत्ततः । चतुर्थकारः पुष्पाणि प्रगृह्य विधिपूर्वकम् ॥ ९९॥
The transition should be performed in this manner. At its conclusion, the performer should enter. The fourth participant, holding flowers, should proceed according to the prescribed ritual.

parivartanamevaM syAttasyAnte pravizettataH । caturthakAraH puSpANi pragRhya vidhipUrvakam ॥ 99॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथावत्तेन कर्तव्यं पूजनं जर्जरस्य तु । कुतपस्य च सर्वस्य सूत्रधारस्य चैव हि ॥ १००॥
The worship of the Jarjara, the Kutapa, and the Sūtradhāra should be performed in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

yathAvattena kartavyaM pUjanaM jarjarasya tu । kutapasya ca sarvasya sUtradhArasya caiva hi ॥ 100॥
