Then, facing east, the Sūtradhāra (Director) should perform salutations to Rudra, Brahmā, and Upendra (Viṣṇu) using the three-footed movement, characterized as masculine, feminine, and neuter.
One should worship Īśa (Lord Śiva) with the masculine step, Janārdana (Viṣṇu) with the feminine step, and the Lotus-born (Brahmā) with the neuter step.
The transition should be performed in this manner. At its conclusion, the performer should enter. The fourth participant, holding flowers, should proceed according to the prescribed ritual.
