पुष्पाञ्जलिं समादाय रक्षामङ्गलसंस्कृताः । शुद्धवस्त्राः सुमनसस्तथा चाद्भुतदृष्टयः ॥ ६६॥

Taking a flower offering with pure intentions, adorned with auspicious rituals, wearing clean clothes, having pure hearts, and displaying wondrous expressions.

english translation

puSpAJjaliM samAdAya rakSAmaGgalasaMskRtAH | zuddhavastrAH sumanasastathA cAdbhutadRSTayaH || 66||

स्थानन्तु वैष्णवं कृत्वा सौष्ठवाङ्गपुरस्कृतम् । दीक्षिताः शुचयश्चैव प्रविशेयुः समं त्रयः ॥ ६७॥

sanskrit

Making the place sacred by invoking Lord Vishnu, adorned with beauty and grace, the purified and initiated ones, three in number, should enter together.

english translation

sthAnantu vaiSNavaM kRtvA sauSThavAGgapuraskRtam | dIkSitAH zucayazcaiva pravizeyuH samaM trayaH || 67||

भृङ्गारजर्जरधरौ भवेतां पारिपार्श्विकौ । मध्ये तु सूत्रभृत्ताभ्यां वृत्तः पञ्चपदीं व्रजेत् ॥ ६८॥

sanskrit

The worn-out and aged attendants should be positioned on either side, while in the middle, two attendants holding the strings should move in a circular path, following the five-step rhythm.

bhRGgArajarjaradharau bhavetAM pAripArzvikau | madhye tu sUtrabhRttAbhyAM vRttaH paJcapadIM vrajet || 68||

पदानि पञ्च गच्छेयुर्ब्रह्मणो यजनेच्छया । पदानाञ्चापि विक्षेपं व्याख्यास्याम्यनुपूर्वशः ॥ ६९॥

त्रितालान्तरविष्कम्भमुत्क्षिपेच्चरणं शनैः पार्श्वोत्थानोत्थितं चैव तन्मध्ये पातयेत्पुनः ॥ ७०॥

The foot should be raised slowly from the third step, then gently placed back in its original position. After this, it should be carefully lowered in the middle again.
