सृष्ट्वा भगवता दत्तास्तण्डवे मुनये तदा । तेनापि हि ततः सम्यग्गानभाण्डसमन्वितः ॥ २६०॥
Having been created by the Lord and given to the sage, the Tāṇḍava dance was performed, accompanied by the musical instruments of singing and rhythm.
