अत्रोपभोगतस्ते तु मानुषीषु मामात्मजाः । बद्धवन्तोऽधिकस्नेहं तासु तद् द्विजसत्तमाः ॥ २१ ॥

Here, O best of the brāhmaṇas, my sons, being inclined towards indulgence, have attached themselves to human women with great affection.

atropabhogataste tu mAnuSISu mAmAtmajAH | baddhavanto'dhikasnehaM tAsu tad dvijasattamAH || 21 ||

पुत्रानुत्पाद्य वध्वा च प्रयोगं च यथाक्रमम् । ब्रह्मणा समनुज्ञाताः प्राप्ताः स्वर्गं पुनः सुताः ॥ २२ ॥

Having begotten sons and performed the rite with the daughter-in-law, they, with Brahmā's permission, ascended to heaven once again.
english translation
putrAnutpAdya vadhvA ca prayogaM ca yathAkramam | brahmaNA samanujJAtAH prAptAH svargaM punaH sutAH || 22 ||

एवमुर्वीतले नाट्यं शिष्यैः समवतारितम् । भरतानां च वंशोऽयं भविष्यं च प्रवर्तितः ॥ २३ ॥

Thus, the drama was brought down to the earth by the disciples. The lineage of the Bharatas was established, and the future began to unfold.

कोहलादिभिरेवं तु वत्सशाण्डिल्यधूर्तितैः । मत्यधर्मक्रियायुक्तैः कश्चित्कालमवस्थितैः ॥ २४ ॥

Thus, by Kohila and others, by Vatsa, Śāṇḍilya, and Dhūrti, and by those engaged in the practices of mental discipline, some remained for a time.
