This is called the Śākhā of the Vastu, and it is termed Aparāntaka. Just as there is a Śākhā, so too its Pratiśākhā is to be arranged.

english translation

It is equal to the western half, and the remaining words are arranged likewise. Its Śīrṣaka is to be made with one Kalā using the Pañcapāṇi.

english translation

In the Vṛtta, the combination with Nivṛtta is applied when the four Vastus are completed. In the Śākhā and Pratiśākhā, there is a special rule for the western half.

english translation

When joined with six Kalā-pātas, it is to be known as Tālikā. And when joined with one Kalā, it is to be performed according to the prescribed rule with Pañcapāṇi.

english translation

The Upavartana should be done according to the same syllable. The Upohana is half of the Vastu, and the Pratyupohana consists of two Kalās.
