पञ्चपाणौ द्वितीये तु सार्धषट्परिकीर्तिताः । कनीय एवं कर्तव्यमकरौस्तालमानतः ॥ १०३॥
In the Pañcapāṇi and the Cāpapuṭa (the second), the number [of measures] is said to be six and a half. Thus the short (Āsārita) form should be composed according to the measure of the Tāla.
