नेपथ्यगृहकं चैव ततः कार्यं प्रयत्नतः । द्वारं चैकं भवेत्तत्र रङ्गपीठप्रवेशनम् ॥ ९६॥

nepathyagRhakaM caiva tataH kAryaM prayatnataH । dvAraM caikaM bhavettatra raGgapIThapravezanam ॥ 96॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजनप्रवेशनं चान्यदाभिमुख्येन कारयेत् । रङ्गस्याभिमुखं कार्यं द्वितीयं द्वारमेव तु ॥ ९७॥
The entrance for the public should be constructed separately, facing another direction. The second door should be made on the side facing the stage.

janapravezanaM cAnyadAbhimukhyena kArayet । raGgasyAbhimukhaM kAryaM dvitIyaM dvArameva tu ॥ 97॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअष्टहस्तं तु कर्तव्यं रङ्गपीठं प्रमाणतः । चतुरश्रं समतलं वेदिकासमलङ्कृतम् ॥ ९८॥
The stage should be constructed with a measurement of eight hands, according to the standard. It should be level, with a square shape, and adorned with decorative elements.

aSTahastaM tu kartavyaM raGgapIThaM pramANataH । caturazraM samatalaM vedikAsamalaGkRtam ॥ 98॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूर्वप्रमाणनिर्दिष्टा कर्तव्या मत्तवारणी । चतुःस्तम्भसमायुक्ता वेदिकायास्तु पार्श्वतः ॥ ९९॥
The stage should be constructed with a design according to the previously specified measurement, and it should include a decorated space on the sides, incorporating four pillars.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमुन्नतं समं चैव रङ्गशीर्षं तु कारयेत् । विकृष्टे तून्नतं कार्यं चतुरश्रे समं तथा ॥ १००॥
