एक एव रसस्तेषां स्थायी रौद्रो द्विजोत्तमाः । नेपथ्यरौद्रो विज्ञेयस्त्वङ्गरौद्रस्तथैव च ॥ ४९॥

Among these, the only permanent sentiment is the Terrible (Roudra), O best of Brahmins. The Terrible sentiment manifested offstage (background) and the Terrible expressed through the limbs are both to be known.

english translation

eka eva rasasteSAM sthAyI raudro dvijottamAH । nepathyaraudro vijJeyastvaGgaraudrastathaiva ca ॥ 49॥
