इह प्रकृतयो दिव्या दिव्यमानुष्य एव च । मानुष्य इति विज्ञेया नाट्यनृत्तक्रियां प्रति ॥ २६॥

The nature of gods is divine, that of kings is semi-divine, and the other characters, known to the world, are called human.

devAnAM prakRtirdivyA rAjJAM vai divyamAnuSI । yA tvanyA lokaviditA mAnuSI sA prakIrtitA ॥ 27॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवांशजास्तु राजानो वेदाध्यात्मसु कीर्तिताः । एवं देवानुकरणे दोषो ह्यत्र न विद्यते ॥ २८॥
Kings are said to be born from parts of gods, as described in the Vedas and Upanishads; therefore, there is no fault in kings imitating gods.

devAMzajAstu rAjAno vedAdhyAtmasu kIrtitAH । evaM devAnukaraNe doSo hyatra na vidyate ॥ 28॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअयं विधिस्तु कर्तव्यः स्वच्छन्दगमनं प्रति । संभ्रमोत्पातरोषेषु प्रमाणं न विधीयते ॥ २९॥
This rule is to be followed for ordinary walking; but in cases of haste, agitation, or anger, the prescribed measure does not apply.

ayaM vidhistu kartavyaH svacchandagamanaM prati । saMbhramotpAtaroSeSu pramANaM na vidhIyate ॥ 29॥
