अलातं वामकं चैव पार्श्वक्रान्तं च दक्षिणम् । सूचीवामं पुनश्चैव पार्श्वक्रान्तं च दक्षिणम् ॥ ७॥
The movements known as Alāta, the left (Vāmaka), the Pārśvakrānta (sideward movement) to the right, the Sūcī (needle-like movement) to the left, and again the Pārśvakrānta to the right are described here.
