प्रयोजितं पुत्रशतं यथाभूमिविभागशः । यो यस्मिन्कर्मणि यथा योग्यस्तस्मिन् स योजितः ॥ ४०॥

The hundred sons were appointed according to the division of the earth; each one was assigned to the task for which he was most suited, based on his aptitude.

english translation

prayojitaM putrazataM yathAbhUmivibhAgazaH । yo yasminkarmaNi yathA yogyastasmin sa yojitaH ॥ 40॥
