येऽक्षेत्रिणो बीजवन्तः परक्षेत्रप्रवापिणः । ते वै सस्यस्य जातस्य न लभन्ते फलं क्व चित् ॥ ४९ ॥

sanskrit

Those who, having no property in a field, but possessing seed-corn, sow it in another’s soil, do indeed not receive the grain of the crop which may spring up.

english translation

ye'kSetriNo bIjavantaH parakSetrapravApiNaH । te vai sasyasya jAtasya na labhante phalaM kva cit ॥ 49 ॥
