बीजस्य चैव योन्याश्च बीजमुत्कृष्टमुच्यते । सर्वभूतप्रसूतिर्हि बीजलक्षणलक्षिता ॥ ३५ ॥

On comparing the seed and the receptacle (of the seed), the seed is declared to be more important; for the offspring of all created beings is marked by the characteristics of the seed.

english translation

bIjasya caiva yonyAzca bIjamutkRSTamucyate | sarvabhUtaprasUtirhi bIjalakSaNalakSitA || 35 ||
