पौत्रदौहित्रयोर्लोके विशेषो नोपपद्यते । दौहित्रोऽपि ह्यमुत्रैनं सन्तारयति पौत्रवत् ॥ १३९ ॥

sanskrit

Between a son’s son and the son of a daughter there exists in this world no difference; for even the son of a daughter saves him (who has no sons) in the next world, like the son’s son.

english translation

pautradauhitrayorloke vizeSo nopapadyate | dauhitro'pi hyamutrainaM santArayati pautravat || 139 ||
