यथैवात्मा तथा पुत्रः पुत्रेण दुहिता समा । तस्यामात्मनि तिष्ठन्त्यां कथमन्यो धनं हरेत् ॥ १३० ॥

sanskrit

A son is even (as) oneself, (such) a daughter is equal to a son; how can another (heir) take the estate, while such (an appointed daughter who is even) oneself, lives?

english translation

yathaivAtmA tathA putraH putreNa duhitA samA । tasyAmAtmani tiSThantyAM kathamanyo dhanaM haret ॥ 130 ॥
