यानस्य चैव यातुश्च यानस्वामिन एव च । दशातिवर्तनान्याहुः शेषे दण्डो विधीयते ॥ २९० ॥

sanskrit

They declare with respect to a carriage, its driver and its owner, (that there are) ten cases in which no punishment (for damage done) can be inflicted; in other cases a fine is prescribed.

english translation

yAnasya caiva yAtuzca yAnasvAmina eva ca | dazAtivartanAnyAhuH zeSe daNDo vidhIyate || 290 ||
